Why do people get liver cancer in life? 6 ways to check liver cancer

Cancer is a fatal disease and people are very afraid of it. However, due to various causes nowadays, the incidence of cancer is gradually increasing. For example, liver cancer is a very typical type and brings great pain to patients. Although treatment is important, the cause must also be found. Let's take a look.

Why do people get liver cancer?

1. Aflatoxin

Aflatoxin is one of the main causes of this disease. Experts point out that its metabolite, aflatoxin b1, has a strong carcinogenic effect and exists in moldy corn, peanuts and other foods. In areas where food is seriously contaminated by aflatoxin b1, the incidence of liver cancer is also high. This is the cause of liver cancer.

2. Pollution of water sources

Nowadays, polluted water sources can also lead to liver cancer. Generally speaking, drinking water is often polluted by polychlorinated biphenyls, chloroform, etc. In recent years, it has been found that blue-green algae growing in ponds are strong carcinogenic plants that can pollute water sources. Parasitic diseases such as Clonorchis sinensis infection can stimulate bile duct epithelial hyperplasia and lead to primary bile duct cancer, which is the cause of liver cancer.

3. Viral Hepatitis

Viral hepatitis is also an important factor in causing liver cancer. Moreover, according to relevant epidemiological statistics, areas where hepatitis B is prevalent are often also high-incidence areas for liver cancer. People who have had hepatitis B are 10 times more likely to develop liver cancer than those who have not had hepatitis B. Long-term clinical observations have found that hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer are a trilogy of continuous migration and evolution.

What are the main methods for liver cancer screening?

1. Alpha-fetoprotein test: It is an immunological method to measure the embryonic antigens produced. It is one of the most specific methods for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma and is relatively accurate in diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma. For patients without other evidence of liver cancer, (α-Fp) countercurrent immunoelectrophoresis is negative or the quantitative result is greater than 500 ng/ml for more than one month, and pregnancy can be excluded. There are also active liver function diseases, gonadal embryonic tumors, etc., which can be diagnosed as hepatocellular carcinoma.

2. Blood enzyme test: The isoenzymes of aminobutyrate glutamyl transpeptidase, alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase in the serum of liver cancer patients may be higher than normal, but due to the lack of specificity, they are mostly used as auxiliary diagnosis.

3. Ultrasonic testing: B-type ultrasonic testing can show the size, shape, location of the tumor and whether there are cancer thrombi in the hepatic vein or portal vein. The diagnostic accuracy rate can reach 84%. It can detect lesions with a diameter of two centimeters or less. It is currently the best non-invasive detection method with positioning value.

4. CT scan: It has high resolution and can detect early liver cancer with a diameter of about one centimeter. Enhanced scanning can help distinguish it from hemangioma. The diagnostic accuracy rate for liver cancer is as high as 90%. However, it is expensive and has not yet been widely used.

5. Selective celiac artery or hepatic artery angiography can occasionally reveal space-occupying lesions with a diameter of 0.5 to 1 cm for cancers with abundant blood vessels, with a diagnostic accuracy rate of up to 90%. It can determine the location, size and distribution of lesions, especially the localization diagnosis of small liver cancer, which is the best among all current detection methods.

6. X-ray examination: abdominal fluoroscopy or plain film can show the expansion of liver shadow. Cancer in the right lobe of the liver can often show the right diaphragm is lowered, the movement is restricted or it is a local bulge. X-ray barium meal examination can show the stomach and transverse colon are pushed.

To prevent the occurrence of liver cancer, we must start from these four aspects.

1. Mental Factors

Negative emotions are the first "killer" that induces liver cancer. Negative emotions include: persistent fear, depression, anger, anxiety, sadness, depression, jealousy, etc., lack of response to environmental changes, depression, emotional instability, emotional inversion, contradictory thoughts, tension, suspicion, oversensitivity to things, etc. Negative emotions damage the human body in many ways, mainly causing great damage and disorder to the immune system, circulatory system, digestive system, endocrine system, and nervous system. As the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine says: "Anger hurts the liver, joy hurts the heart, thinking hurts the spleen, worry hurts the lungs, and fear hurts the kidneys." The human immune system is the main force to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It is controlled by both the nervous and endocrine systems. When the human immune system functions normally, the lymphocytes produced will have a strong ability to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. At this time, they can control the growth of cancer cells and promote the disappearance of cancer cells. On the contrary, mental depression and negative emotions act on the nervous system, causing the autonomic nervous system and endocrine system to be out of balance, hindering the recognition and elimination of cancer cells by lymphocytes, allowing cancer cells to break through the defense of the immune system, accelerate proliferation, and unlimited growth is the main reason for the deterioration of the condition of cancer patients.

2. Bad eating habits

The meridian constitution tumor elimination method reminds everyone: the body's temperature and cool balance is the basic guarantee of life, the basic guarantee of health, and the fundamental guarantee of disease prevention. Once the body loses the temperature and cool balance, various diseases will follow and occur when encountering inducements. Most liver cancer patients have damp heat and blood stasis constitutions, which are closely related to the patient's daily diet. Through the understanding of the patient's daily life information in clinical practice, it is found that many people eat some tonic foods or health products, and never pay attention to the temperature and cool balance of food. Therefore, the constitution of tumor patients is mostly hot constitution, so liver cancer patients are not immune-deficient, but caused by hyperimmunity.

3. Genetic factors

Here, inheritance refers to the constitution inherited from the previous generation. Liver cancer patients are mostly damp-heat and blood stasis constitutions. The change in constitution leads to tumors. The congenital constitution can be slowly restored through conditioning. Clinical oncologists have also done such an experiment, which is to plant cancer cells in a healthy person. The results show that the cancer cells cannot survive at all and die as soon as they enter the body. This shows that the internal environment of the body affects the survival of cancer cells. So, why do you have a tumor while others do not? That is the constitution! Therefore, changing the constitution of tumor patients is the basis for curing tumors. If there is a liver cancer patient in the family, then the person who inherits his constitution will have an increased chance of developing liver cancer.

4. Environmental factors

Surveys show that liver cancer in my country mostly occurs in the southeastern coastal areas. Such a geographical feature deserves our attention. This shows that it has a lot to do with the surrounding environment. The climate in coastal areas is mostly warm and humid, so it is difficult to dissipate the heat in the body. Even after filtering, polluted seawater still contains some carcinogens. Long-term accumulation can also lead to liver cancer. In addition, some patients like to smoke and drink on a daily basis, which also aggravates the accumulation of carcinogens in the body. Therefore, environmental factors are also a major factor that cannot be ignored.
