As we all know, uterus-related cancers such as cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and choriocarcinoma are malignant tumors with a high incidence rate in women. Among them, cervical cancer has become the number one killer of women. Nearly 500,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year worldwide, with a mortality rate of up to 50%. Cervical cancer mainly occurs in Asia and ranks first among Chinese women. The incidence of cervical cancer is getting younger and younger. Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in the human body. It not only ranks first among cancers of female reproductive organs, but is also the most common cancer among various malignant tumors in women. However, its incidence rate has obvious regional differences. The occurrence of cervical cancer in my country is characterized by geographical distribution in that high-incidence areas are often connected into pieces, and cities and counties in provinces with relatively high incidence of cervical cancer are often connected to each other. The general trend is that rural areas are higher than cities, and mountainous areas are higher than plains. According to a retrospective survey of 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, the mortality rate of cervical cancer in my country ranks fourth among all cancer mortality rates and second among female cancers. The average age of cervical cancer patients varies in reports from different countries and regions. In my country, the age of onset is mostly 40 to 50 years old, and there is another peak at 60 to 70 years old. It is rare before the age of 20. Cervical Cancer Symptoms Cervical cancer symptoms 1. Vaginal bleeding Young patients often present with contact bleeding, which occurs during sexual intercourse, during gynecological examinations and after bowel movements. Bleeding generally invades the interstitial blood vessels, with little bleeding in the early stages and heavy bleeding in the late stages. Once large blood vessels are eroded, it may cause fatal bleeding. Young patients may also present with prolonged menstruation, shortened cycles, increased menstruation, etc. Older patients often complain of irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause. Cervical cancer symptoms 2. Vaginal discharge Patients often complain of increased vaginal discharge, which is white or bloody, as thin as water or rice soup, and has a fishy smell. In the late stage of cancer tissue rupture, tissue necrosis, secondary infection, etc., there is a large amount of pus or rice soup-smelling leucorrhea discharged. Symptoms of Advanced Cervical Cancer Secondary symptoms appear depending on the scope of invasion of the lesion. When the lesion spreads to the pelvic connective tissue, pelvic wall, and compresses the ureter or rectum and sciatic nerve, patients often complain of frequent urination, urgency, anal distension, constipation, tenesmus, swelling and pain in the lower limbs, etc. In severe cases, it can lead to ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and finally uremia. At the late stage of the disease, patients may become emaciated, anemic, feverish, and systemic failure. Cervical epithelial neoplasia, microscopic early invasive carcinoma and very early invasive cervical carcinoma, with no obvious local lesions, smooth or slightly eroded cervix, like general cervicitis. As invasive cervical cancer grows and develops, different types of local signs are also different. Exogenous sees cervical pride organisms grow outward, protruding in the form of polyps or papillae, and then protruding into the vagina to form cauliflower pride organisms, with irregular surfaces, and the surface of the combined infection is covered with grayish white exudate, and it is easy to bleed when touched. Endogenous sees cervical hypertrophy, hardness, cervical canal expansion like a barrel, and the surface of the cervix is smooth or shallow ulcers. In the late stage, due to the necrosis and shedding of cancerous tissue, a depressed ulcer is formed. The entire cervix is sometimes replaced by a cavity, covered with gray-brown necrotic tissue and a foul odor. The cancer lesions penetrate into the vaginal wall, and growths are seen on the vaginal wall, invading the tissues on both sides. Gynecological examiners and both sides are thickened and nodular, with a texture similar to that of cancerous tissue, and sometimes penetrate into the pelvic wall to form a frozen pelvis. Which women are most at risk for cervical cancer? Women aged 20-60 may suffer from cervical cancer, among which women aged 30-40 are the most common, especially those who have persistent HPV infection over 35 years old. The following are the most common types of women with cervical cancer, and female friends should be more vigilant. Women who have their first sexual intercourse too early, marry early and have many children; Women who have had multiple miscarriages; Women with low education, malnutrition, and cervicitis; People with atypical cervical hyperplasia; Women infected with the herpes virus; People whose immunity is weakened due to long-term use of birth control pills; Immunocompromised AIDS patients; Women who smoke and take drugs; Women who have multiple sexual partners or whose spouses have multiple sexual partners Cervical cancer is very cunning. Most cervical precancerous lesions and early cervical cancer have no symptoms or signs. If there are dangerous signs such as turbid leucorrhea, bloody leucorrhea, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc., you should seek medical attention in time and receive early guidance, early advice, early diagnosis and early treatment. At the same time, experts recommend that women correct bad reproductive habits and lifestyles, pay attention to reproductive hygiene, avoid multiple miscarriages and induced labor; establish a health concept with prevention as the main focus, improve prevention awareness, and do not give up medical treatment. Preventing cervical cancer 1. Eat more vegetables and fruits Various lettuces, dark green vegetables and fruits also have a preventive effect on different cancers. According to expert research, 60% to 70% of cancers are preventable, of which 30% to 40% can be improved through dietary adjustments. 2. Check regularly The occurrence of cancer does not happen overnight. There is a gradual evolution process. Therefore, through regular screening, some precancerous lesions and asymptomatic cancers can be discovered, and then active treatment can be given. 3. Get active Exercise and pay attention to physical and mental health. Most people exercise for one hour a day, and students exercise for two hours a day, but they should not exercise excessively to avoid physical overdraft. 4. Do not take drugs, smoke or drink alcohol As a woman, cleanliness is a prerequisite. To prevent cancer, people should first take care of themselves and the environment. 5. Pay attention to hygiene Usually, you should pay attention to cleaning the vulva and underwear, pay attention to menstrual hygiene, and avoid sexual disorders, which can also effectively reduce the incidence of cervical cancer. 6. Wash your hands frequently Wash your hands before and after meals, and after urinating or defecating. Frequent hand washing is an effective way to prevent the spread of diseases. 7. Wear breathable and loose cotton underwear Mold can easily survive in a humid and warm environment, so wear breathable and loose cotton underwear to prevent mold from occurring. 8. Maintain a sterile living environment In order to maintain a sterile living environment, women who have sex should keep clean and fresh sheets. 9. Change bad lifestyle. High-fat, high-calorie foods and lack of exercise are very harmful to people's health. |
