How to deal with burns from a soldering iron

I believe everyone has often seen a kind of punishment on TV, which is branding with an iron. Branding with an iron is actually a very cruel form of punishment. In modern society, branding with an iron is a very rare form of punishment. However, we have many opportunities to come into contact with high-temperature iron products in our daily lives. For example, most pots in the kitchen are made of iron. Therefore, you must be especially careful not to get burned by the soldering iron when cooking, but what are the treatment methods after being burned by the soldering iron?

If the area is not large and there is only local blistering, erythema, fever, swelling and pain, you can take the following methods: first rinse the wound with cold water, then use professional burn medicine to treat it. It is advisable to use exposure therapy, that is, no bandage is required after applying the medicine, and the wound is directly exposed to the air to heal.

You can also use raw eggs and honey, or mix the two and apply them to the wound. If the burn is not severe, you can use a piece of tofu and one or two taels of white sugar, mix them and apply them to the affected area. It can relieve pain immediately. Change the tofu when it is dry. Change it three or four times in a row to see the effect. If necessary, you need to go to the hospital for debridement.

If you get burned, check to see if there are any blisters on the burned area. If not, it means it is a first-degree burn and usually heals on its own in about a week. If blisters appear, it means it is a second-degree burn. First, you must keep the wound clean. After three to four days of tissue fluid exudation, you can use a sterilized needle to puncture the blister and use a cotton swab to absorb the tissue fluid. Then use alcohol cotton to disinfect the area around the wound, disinfect the wound with saline, and apply some green ointment to prevent infection. It will usually heal in two to three weeks. During this period, do not let the wound get wet to avoid infection, and do not apply messy things (this will increase the risk of infection!). As long as there is no infection, there is generally no problem, so don't worry!
