How to prevent gastric cancer and esophageal cancer? It's related to eating habits

Gastric cancer and esophageal cancer are two types of malignant tumors that are closely related to eating habits. Among gastric cancers, there is a type called cardia cancer. As the name suggests, it occurs in the cardia part of the stomach and is also common among gastric cancers.

So how can we prevent these two tumors at an early stage?

1. Eat less hot or hard food

Investigations conducted by relevant experts in areas with a high incidence of cardia cancer, such as Lin County in Henan Province and Yangzhong County in Jiangsu Province, have shown that tumor occurrence is related to overheated, hard, rough, and fast eating. Overly hot tea and porridge can cause canceration of the cardia mucosal epithelium. Therefore, everyone is reminded to pay attention to these factors.

2. Try to eat less moldy pickled food

Medical studies have found that foods such as moldy peanuts, moldy dried vegetables, pickled meat, and bacon are often contaminated by fungi such as Aspergillus flavus, and are prone to produce carcinogens such as nitrosamines and nitrites, which can easily lead to cardiac cancer after consumption.

3. Do not smoke or drink alcohol

According to statistics, smoking is one of the main factors that induce cardia cancer. Long-term smoking can directly induce cardia cancer, and the incidence rate of smokers is 10 times higher than that of non-smokers. In addition, alcohol has a great irritation to the cardia mucosa, which can easily cause degeneration and necrosis of the cardia surface mucosa. At the same time, alcohol also contains nitrosamines, aflatoxin and other carcinogens. According to statistics, the incidence rate of cardia cancer in drinkers is 10 times higher than that of non-drinkers. The incidence rate of cardia cancer in smokers and drinkers is 30 times higher than that of non-smokers and non-drinkers. Therefore, those who like to smoke and drink are reminded to pay attention to the principle of moderation and try to quit smoking and drinking.

4. Ensure the intake of various nutrients and trace elements

Clinically, most patients suffer from malnutrition due to difficulty in eating. In fact, they eat very little meat, animal protein, fat, and fresh fruit, so their intake of vitamins A, C, and riboflavin is low. Therefore, patients can supplement appropriate amounts of vitamins according to the specific requirements of the doctor. However, everything has a limit. Even nutrients should not be consumed in excess, otherwise it will often backfire.
