Usage: Take 1 dose daily, decocted in water.

Efficacy: A total of 169 cases were treated, 94 were cured, 20 were significantly effective, 46 were improved, and 9 had no major complications. The total effective rate was 95%.

Commonly used prescriptions: Haizao Yuhu Decoction and Xiaoyao Powder.

(2) Phlegm-dampness condensation

Treatment method: softening and resolving phlegm, removing blood stasis and dispersing nodules.

Prescription: 15 grams of Coptis chinensis fried with wine, 6 grams each of green and dried tangerine peel, 10 grams of Prunella Vulgaris, 10 grams of Fritillaria thunbergii, 12 grams of kelp, 12 grams of Sargassum, 10 grams of Pinellia ternata, and 10 grams of Poria cocos.

Add or subtract: add Curcuma and Cyperus rotundus for chest tightness; add Uncaria rhynchophylla and mother of pearl for tremor of hands and feet; add Atractylodes macrocephala, Dioscorea opposita, and Lablab cyrtonema for constipation due to spleen deficiency; add Baiming powder for dry stool.

Usage: Take 1 dose daily, decocted in water.

Efficacy: A total of 35 cases of this type of thyroid adenoma were treated, among which some patients used external application of goiter ointment (centipede, scorpion, dragon tail, this tea, toad venom, and yellow angelica). 16 cases were cured, 17 cases improved, and 2 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 95%.

Commonly used prescriptions: Sihai Shuyu Pills and Yigong San with modifications.

Second, special prescription treatment for thyroid cancer

(1) Softening Decoction

Ingredients: 9 grams each of Prunella Vulgaris, Curcuma Atractylodes, and White Peony Root, 20 grams of raw oyster, 12 grams each of Dioscorea bulbifera, Earthworm, Ligusticum wallichii, Huojing, Polygonum multiflorum, Fritillaria thunbergii, and raw clam shell, and 6 grams of licorice.

Add or subtract: If there is qi deficiency, add Codonopsis pilosula; if there is blood stasis, add Panax notoginseng for diuresis.

(2) Xiaoying Decoction

Ingredients: 30 grams each of Prunella Vulgaris, seaweed, Scrophularia ningpoensis, and oyster, 10 grams each of Trillium, Curcuma zedoaria, Dioscorea bulbifera, and fried pangolin, 12 grams each of Fritillaria thunbergii, Bombyx batryticatus, Sinapis alba, Angelica sinensis, and Cyperus rotundus.

Usage: Take 1 dose daily, decocted in water and taken in 2 doses.

Efficacy: A total of 115 cases were treated with the above method, 98 were cured, 13 showed significant effects, and 4 were ineffective. The overall effective rate was 97%.

(3) Huoxue Huayu Decoction

Ingredients: 15-30 grams each of angelica and seaweed, 9-12 grams each of Fritillaria cirrhosa, Pinellia ternata, stir-fried pangolin and Dioscorea bulbifera, 9.15 grams each of mulberry and peach kernel, and 15-30 grams of red peony root.

Usage: Take 1 dose daily, divided into 2 doses for decoction, 30 days as a course of treatment.

Efficacy: A total of 50 cases were treated with the above method, 18 were cured, 25 improved, 7 were ineffective, and the overall effective rate was 86%.

(4) Seaweed Jade Pot Soup

Ingredients: 15 grams each of seaweed, kelp, pumice, selfheal, and dioscorea bulbifera, 12 grams each of angelica, cyperus rotundus, and pinellia; 12 grams each of tangerine peel, curcuma, and elephant shell, and 30 grams of oyster.

Add or subtract: For patients with hard lumps and no obvious weakness, add roasted pangolin, red peony root, aconite root, trillium, and curcuma, and Niuhuang Xingxiao Pills as appropriate; for patients with chest tightness, palpitations, and insomnia, add jujube bark, polygala tenuifolia, and jujube seed; for patients with plump body and greasy white tongue coating, remove pumice and angelica sinensis from the above prescription, and add dandelion, chuanpu, and huojing; for patients with thin body, excessive internal heat, dry mouth and throat, remove pinellia and cyperus rotundus, and add ophiopogon, scrophularia, raw rehmannia, and moutan bark; for patients with long-term illness and physical weakness, add Codonopsis pilosula, scutellaria baicalensis, Polygonum multiflorum, and polygonatum sibiricum as appropriate.

Usage: Take 1 dose daily, divided into 2 doses.

Efficacy: A total of 45 cases were treated with the above method, 34 were cured, 6 improved, and 5 were ineffective. The overall effective rate was 90%.

(5) Jialiu Pills

Ingredients: 30 grams each of Prunella Vulgaris, whole angelica, mother of pearl, and raw oysters, and 15 grams each of kelp and salvia miltiorrhiza.

Usage: Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, add honey and make pills, each pill weighs 9 grams. Take 2 times a day, 1 pill each time, 3 months as a course of treatment.

Efficacy: A total of 46 cases were treated, 6 were cured, 28 showed marked effect, 9 improved, and 3 were ineffective. The total effective rate was 93%.
