Where does melanoma usually grow

Malignant melanoma is a highly malignant skin disease. It does not occur in all parts of the skin. There are certain rules for the location of the disease. So which parts of the human body are prone to melanoma? Please see the following introduction!

Common sites of melanoma:

1. Melanoma most commonly develops on the skin, but 10% occur in the eye. The most common types on the skin are called superficial spreading melanoma and small nodular melanoma, terms that represent the amplified disease model they describe.

2. Malignant melanoma can appear in some rare places, such as under the nails of fingers or toes, or on the mucous membranes inside the mouth, vagina or anus. Primary malignant melanoma is also found in the pigmented tissue covering the brain.

3. It is important not to confuse malignant melanoma under the nail with a fungal infection, although this mistake is sometimes made in the early stages of the disease.

4. Malignant melanoma of the eye occurs in the colored area in the front (iris), the structure behind the iris that controls the shape of the lens (ciliary body), and the pigmented layer covering the retina at the back of the eyeball.

Through the above introduction, we know that not all parts of the skin are prone to melanoma, and the disease occurs in relatively rare parts of the skin. For patients who unfortunately get melanoma, mild cases will cause patients to suffer from repeated illnesses, causing unnecessary economic losses, and severe cases may even cause the disease to worsen, threatening the patient's health or even life. In the treatment of skin cancer, modern Chinese medicine has little harm to skin cancer patients, no side effects, and significant clinical efficacy.
