The diagnosis of kidney cancer is of decisive significance

Kidney cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the renal parenchymal cells, transitional epithelium of the renal pelvis, and ureter. Clinically, it is divided into kidney cancer, renal pelvis cancer, and ureteral cancer. Although the three occur in different locations, their clinical symptoms, signs, diagnosis, and treatment are similar, so they are discussed together. Although kidney tumors are uncommon, accounting for about 1% to 2% of all tumors, the vast majority are malignant. More than 70% of them occur in the 40-60 age group, and more men than women.

() Typical clinical manifestations include painless hematuria, lumps in the waist or upper abdomen, and waist pain.
(II) Laboratory examinations (1) X-ray examination: X-ray abdominal plain film, intravenous urography, retrograde cystography, abdominal aortography, renal artery angiography, intravenous renal parenchymal tomography, inferior vena cava angiography, and perirenal pneumatic angiography are all helpful in the diagnosis of renal tumors.
(2) CT examination: can show the size of the tumor and the degree of infiltration of adjacent organs
(3) Ultrasound examination: It is relatively easy to differentiate renal cancer from benign renal tumors, cysts, and hydronephrosis, but it is often easy to miss renal pelvis and ureteral tumors.
(4) Microscopic examination of urine: The "three cups of urine" test and exfoliative cytology of urine can identify the site of hematuria.
Urine lactate dehydrogenase determination and serum reactive protein examination can also be performed.
