Sequelae of chemotherapy for bladder cancer

The occurrence of any cancer will cause serious harm to the patient. I believe that everyone has heard a lot about bladder cancer. For bladder cancer, I hope people can achieve early detection and early treatment, because once such a disease occurs, it is not easy to recover. Only early treatment can accelerate the recovery of the disease and reduce some unnecessary troubles. So it is necessary for us to understand the sequelae of chemotherapy for bladder cancer.

1. Hematuria Patients with this disease may experience painless hematuria in the early stage, that is, the hematuria symptom does not cause any other discomfort. Some patients' hematuria is visible to the naked eye, while some patients need to use a microscope to find it. This is also the first symptom of this disease. Some patients may have hematuria throughout the whole process or intermittently, sometimes accompanied by blood clots. The amount of bleeding is related to the severity of the patient's condition and the size of the tumor, but it is not necessarily proportional.
2. Bladder irritation symptoms Generally, early patients rarely experience urinary tract irritation symptoms. If there is an obvious infection or the tumor grows in the bladder triangle, urinary tract irritation symptoms will appear earlier. In addition, frequent urination and urgency may also indicate that the patient may have a bladder tumor. Therefore, patients who lack evidence should undergo active and comprehensive examinations as soon as possible to ensure timely treatment.
3. Difficulty urinating: A small number of patients have large tumors that grow in the bladder neck and have blood clots, which can also cause urinary obstruction, urine retention, difficulty urinating and other problems.
