What are the differences between functional uterine bleeding and uterine cancer

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is a disease name in modern medicine. It refers to uterine bleeding caused by ovarian dysfunction, referred to as "dysfunctional uterine bleeding". It is often manifested as abnormal menstrual cycle, excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, and even irregular vaginal bleeding. Any factors inside or outside the body that affect the regulatory function of any part of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis can lead to menstrual disorders. What is the difference between dysfunctional uterine bleeding and uterine cancer?

The early symptoms of cervical cancer include increased colored vaginal discharge and bleeding after sexual intercourse. The symptoms in the development stage include more obvious bleeding after sexual intercourse and abnormal odor of vaginal discharge. The symptoms in the aggravation stage include daily bleeding, foul-smelling discharge, low back pain, and neuralgia-like pain in the lower limbs.
The early symptoms of uterine body cancer include postmenopausal uterine bleeding. The symptoms during the advanced stage are the same as those of cervical cancer.
If bleeding occurs before menopause, it may be manifested as dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Therefore, for patients with menopausal bleeding, it cannot be simply considered a benign disease caused by endocrine disorders, but endometrial specimens should be routinely scraped to rule out malignant lesions. Clinical data show that those who suffer from functional bleeding before menopause have a higher incidence of uterine cancer later; those who develop uterine cancer after menopause have a higher incidence of premenopausal functional bleeding than the control group; those who develop uterine cancer before menopause have a significantly higher incidence of functional bleeding in the past.
