Stay away from high-risk factors for gastric cancer and be alert to the occurrence of gastric cancer

According to incomplete statistics, one quarter of the current causes of death among the people are cancer, and one quarter of cancer deaths are gastric cancer. High-risk factors for gastric cancer refer to risk factors that increase the risk of gastric cancer, with the incidence rate being several times, or even nearly 10 times, higher than that of a normal body, such as precancerous lesions, poor eating habits, smoking and drinking, etc.

For example, the patient suffers from benign diseases with a tendency to become cancerous, such as chronic atrophic gastritis, chronic gastric ulcer; multiple gastric polyps with a wide base; partial gastrectomy, etc.

Bad eating habits, such as irregular meal times, eating too fast, liking to eat high-salt and hot foods, or pickled and smoked foods with high levels of carcinogens such as nitrites, can induce genetic changes in gastric cancer.

People who drink and smoke for a long time should be highly vigilant about the occurrence of gastric cancer, because alcohol can cause changes in gastric mucosal cells and then cancer. Smoking is also a high risk factor for gastric cancer, and people who start smoking in adolescence are at the greatest risk.

For patients with a family history of gastric cancer or esophageal cancer, the incidence of gastric cancer in their family members is 2-3 times higher than that in the normal population, and oncogenes are more easily expressed.

If negative psychological states such as repression, sorrow, longing, depression, hatred, and inferiority exist for a long time, the risk of gastric cancer will increase significantly.

Certain people who are exposed to sulfuric acid dust, lead, asbestos, herbicides for a long time, and workers in special industries such as metals, have a significantly increased risk of developing gastric cancer.

Stay away from sludge water because the geology and water quality contain high levels of nitrosamines such as 3,4-benzopyrene and organic nitrogen, which can easily damage the gastric mucosa, cause gastric damage and cause cancer.
