Three common factors that induce prostate cancer

Three common factors that induce prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a serious disease that brings serious harm to men. Clinical studies have found that its inducing factors mainly include the following three aspects:

Age and ethnicity factors

The incidence of prostate cancer is closely related to age. Men over 40 years old are the most susceptible group, and the incidence rate will increase with age. In the United States, more than 70% of prostate cancer patients are over 65 years old. In China, the incidence rate is also high in the older age group. The risk of prostate cancer in men aged 50-59 is 10%, while the risk of prostate cancer in men aged 80-89 increases sharply to 70%. In addition, the incidence rate of prostate cancer varies greatly between different races. For example, the incidence rate of black people in the United States is the highest, followed by white people, and then yellow people.

Genetic factors

Family history is a high-risk factor for prostate cancer. The incidence of prostate cancer in men with first-degree relatives is twice as high as that of ordinary people. In addition, the incidence of prostate cancer increases as the number of family members with the disease increases or the age of relatives with the disease decreases. It is worth noting that the influence of genetic factors is more obvious in young patients.

Dietary factors

The incidence of prostate cancer is high in Western countries, which is closely related to eating habits. The diet in Western countries is mainly rich in fat, meat and dairy products. With the improvement of living standards in my country, people often drink milk, eggs and meat. These foods are the main sources of fatty acids. Fatty acids can produce peroxides with carcinogenic damage during oxidation, which act on the prostate and induce prostate cancer. In addition, animal fat can affect the hormone level in the body and produce carcinogens during cooking, leading to cancer.
