The cause of lymphoma that everyone should pay great attention to

Medically, lymphoma is a cancer of lymphatic tissue, which can cause serious harm to people's health. We need to actively prevent lymphoma, but the prerequisite is to understand the causes of lymphoma. What are the common causes of lymphoma ? Let's talk about the common causes of lymphoma.

Common causes of lymphoma include:

1. Epstein-Barr virus: also known as human herpes virus. In 1964, Epein et al. first isolated Epstein-Barr (EB) virus from the subculture of Burkitt lymphoma tissue in African children. This DNA herpes type can cause human B lymphocytes to become malignant and lead to Burkitt lymphoma. Burkitt lymphoma has a clear local epidemic pattern. More than 80% of these patients have significantly increased EB virus antibody titers in their serum, while only 14% of those without Burkitt lymphoma have increased titers. Those with high titers have a significantly increased chance of developing Burkitt lymphoma in the future. This is a common cause of lymphoma.

2. Retrovirus: In the late 1970s, Gallo from the United States and Yoshida from Japan found that retroviruses were closely related to the etiology of lymphoma. In 1976, Japan found that adult T-cell lymphoma/leukemia had a clear familial concentration trend and was seasonal and regionally prevalent. HTLVⅠ was proven to be the cause of this type of T-cell lymphoma. Another retrovirus, HTLVⅡ, was recently considered to be related to the onset of T-cell cutaneous lymphoma-mycosis fungoides.

3. Low immune function: It is also a common cause of lymphoma. The host's immune function determines the susceptibility to lymphoma. In recent years, it has been found that people with hereditary or acquired immunodeficiency are more likely to develop lymphoma than normal people; one-third of those who develop malignant tumors after long-term use of immunosuppressants after organ transplantation are lymphoma. The incidence of lymphoma in Sjögren's syndrome is higher than that of the general population. Under immunodeficiency, repeated infections, allogeneic organ transplantation, and antigenic stimulation of lymphocytes to the host can all cause proliferation of lymphoid tissue. Due to the absence or dysfunction of T suppressor cells, the body lacks automatic feedback control, and lymphoid tissue proliferates indefinitely, eventually leading to the occurrence of lymphoma.

The above is an introduction to the causes of lymphoma that you need to pay attention to. I believe you should have some understanding of this. These causes of lymphoma are relatively common. You can actively prevent lymphoma based on these causes and reduce the occurrence of lymphoma.
