Does taking a nap help you grow taller?

Does taking a nap help you grow taller?

Some people will feel that they want to grow taller after they reach a certain age, but people will no longer enter the development and growth period after reaching a certain age. It can only serve as an auxiliary method to achieve the effect of growing taller, but the effect is not so obvious. Many people will use naps to help themselves grow taller. In fact, if you want to grow taller, you can use exercise to fast.

Exercise

Physical exercise can enhance the body's metabolic process, accelerate blood circulation, promote the secretion of growth hormone, accelerate bone tissue growth, and benefit the body's height growth. The following exercises are effective in increasing height, so you might want to give them a try.

1. For hanging swing, use a horizontal bar or door frame. The height should be such that your body hangs on the bar and your toes just leave the ground. Hold the bar with both hands, with the distance between them slightly wider than shoulder width, put your feet together, and then swing your body back and forth. Don't swing too much and don't keep doing it for too long. It is best to arrange the exercise every morning. Relax the body as much as possible and hold it for 20 seconds. Young men should do it 10 to 15 times and young women should do it 2 to 6 times.

2. Jump up and touch the pre-set objects with both hands when jumping up, which can be roadside branches, basketball hoops or ceilings. Jump with both feet, do 30 times. Rest for a while, then jump on one foot with each foot, using the same method as above.

3. Ball games: When playing basketball, actively fight for rebounds and jump to steal the ball; when playing volleyball, try to jump up and do more spikes and blocks; in football, practice jumping up and hitting the ball with the forehead.

4. Jumping exercises include single-leg hopping, frog leaps, triple jumps, multi-level jumps and vertical jumps in place while moving.

Living Environment

Abnormalities of the mental and nervous system can also affect children's physical growth. If parents are divorced, the relationship between children and guardians is abnormal, children are often abused, or children are exposed to other serious stimulation, their growth rate will gradually slow down, making their height below the lower limit of normal height for children of the same age and gender. Short stature will aggravate the child's inferiority complex. This is because the psychological and social stimulation the child receives affects the transmission of nerve impulses from the cerebral cortex to the hypothalamus, thereby inhibiting the pituitary gland from secreting growth hormone. When the child's environment is treated well, the growth rate can return to normal.

Disease prevention

Chronic diseases in children and adolescents should be treated actively. Long-term diseases such as chronic infection, chronic hepatitis, chronic nephritis, asthma, heart disease, anemia, etc. can affect growth and development. Genetic diseases of the skeleton, such as osteochondrodysplasia, can also limit bone growth.
