As we all know, the creatinine index is closely related to the health of human renal function. When we go to the hospital for a urine test, there will be a relevant analysis of the creatinine value on the urine test report. If the creatinine is found to be abnormal, it must not be taken lightly. It may be a phenomenon caused by abnormal renal function. In severe cases, there is even the possibility of suffering from kidney disease or kidney cancer. Kidney disease is also divided into different stages, so how much creatinine is the symptom of stage three kidney disease?

Renal insufficiency is divided into four stages: The first stage of renal insufficiency is the compensated stage with creatinine of 133-177 and no clinical symptoms. In the second stage of renal insufficiency and decompensation, creatinine is 186-442 and urea nitrogen rises to over 701. Clinically, systemic symptoms such as fatigue, mild anemia, and loss of appetite appear. In the third stage of renal failure, creatinine is 451-707, and urea nitrogen rises to 1709-2806. Clinically, patients will experience anemia, metabolic acidosis, calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders, water and electrolyte disorders, etc. In the fourth stage of uremia, creatinine is above 707, urea nitrogen is above 28, acidosis symptoms are obvious, and systemic symptoms are severe. The time from stage three to stage four varies. In the shortest case, a single infection may cause a rapid increase in creatinine. In the longest case, it may last for one to two years or even longer. Therefore, active kidney protection plays an important role in delaying renal failure.

Stage III nephritis refers to the renal function staging of patients with chronic nephritis calculated by creatinine clearance rate.

Chronic renal insufficiency stages

Normal renal function: Creatinine clearance CCr 120~80 ml/min

Compensatory renal insufficiency: Creatinine clearance CCr 80~50 ml/min

Azotemia stage: Creatinine clearance CCr 50~20 ml/min

Renal failure stage: Creatinine clearance CCr 20~10 ml/min

Uremic stage: Creatinine clearance CCr <10 ml/min
