Cucumber treats prickly heat

Prickly heat is not unfamiliar to many people, especially many newborns are prone to prickly heat after birth due to dry skin and external stimulation. Many people will directly use prickly heat powder to solve the problem of prickly heat, but not all prickly heat powder can treat the problem of prickly heat well, so there are also many folk remedies that can be used to treat prickly heat. Some people in life will choose to use cucumber to treat prickly heat.

1. Prickly heat is caused by blocked sweat pores. Due to the high temperature in summer and excessive sweating, the sweat is not easy to evaporate. After the sweat is stored in the sweat gland ducts, it ruptures due to increased internal pressure. The sweat penetrates into the surrounding tissues and causes irritation. Blisters and papules occur at the sweat pores, resulting in prickly heat. Cucumbers generally do not cause allergies. It is recommended to bathe your baby frequently, keep the skin clean and dry, rinse with warm water, dry it, and then sprinkle it with anti-prickly heat powder. If you are worried about allergies to cucumber, you can try applying a small amount to one area. It generally does not cause allergies.

2. You can use slices of fruits and vegetables such as watermelon and cucumber for external application, or apply bitter melon or loofah juice externally, which are very effective in treating prickly heat. Cucumber and watermelon have the effects of clearing heat, promoting diuresis, and reducing inflammation. Mothers can cut the slices and apply them to the baby's prickly heat affected area for ten minutes each time, 2 to 3 times a day. It can relieve pain, itching, and alleviate the symptoms of prickly heat.

3. Take a raw cucumber, blend it into juice, or cut it into slices, and rub it on the affected area twice a day. It will usually take effect in one day. If the prickly heat is severe, it will be cured in two or three days. This recipe is very convenient. It uses cucumbers, which are everywhere in the summer. When cooking, it is a good choice to scrape a few thin slices and rub them on the children. It can also play a preventive role. You can also use mashed loofah leaves instead of cucumber juice.
