Tumor is a physical disease that people encounter more frequently in daily life. Tumors are mainly divided into two types, one is benign tumor and the other is malignant tumor. But no matter which type of tumor it is, it has a great impact on people's bodies. I believe that anyone who has some understanding of tumors will know that, in addition to benign and malignant, there are different levels of tumors. So what does it mean for tumor stage three? How serious is the situation? Many people believe that cancer is a "fate" and that they have no control over its occurrence. In fact, this is not the case. Although the occurrence of cancer is caused by internal factors such as heredity and genes, more than 90% is caused by the external environment. Epidemiological studies have found that about 40% of cancers are preventable. Cancer prevention can be divided into three levels Primary prevention is to advocate a healthy lifestyle and reduce carcinogenic factors. First, don’t smoke, because smoking can cause lung cancer, oral cancer, laryngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, etc., which is extremely harmful. Second, do not drink excessively. Excessive drinking can damage the gastrointestinal tract and liver, leading to stomach cancer and liver cancer. Third, avoid high-fat, high-sugar, and high-calorie foods and maintain a normal weight. Do not eat moldy or spoiled food, and eat less pickled food. Fourth, try to avoid exposure to the sun to reduce the occurrence of skin cancer. Fifth, it is very important to persist in physical exercise, maintain an optimistic mood, and be healthy and open-minded in order to prevent cancer. Secondary prevention means early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment. Experts from the World Health Organization have proposed "ten" early signs of malignant tumors to alert the public. For example, the appearance of lumps or lumps on the body, a foreign body sensation in the esophagus, persistent indigestion, a dry cough or blood in sputum, unexplained blood in the stool, painless hematuria, irregular vaginal bleeding, ulcers that do not heal for a long time, unexplained weight loss or low-grade fever are all early signs of cancer. If these symptoms occur, you should be highly vigilant and get checked and treated immediately. Tertiary prevention means providing active medical treatment to patients who have been diagnosed with cancer in order to achieve the best therapeutic effect. Even for terminally ill patients, it can help them relieve pain, improve quality of life and prolong survival. The World Health Organization advocates the active development of long-term national cancer control strategies. The most fundamental measure is to eliminate or avoid the causes and risk factors of cancer in order to defeat cancer. Cancer risk factors include aging, tobacco, sun exposure (white people are more sensitive), radiation, certain chemicals, some viruses (such as human papillomavirus, hepatitis B and C viruses, HIV, Epstein-Barr virus and human herpes virus-8) and bacteria (Helicobacter pylori), family history of cancer, alcohol, poor diet, lack of physical exercise and obesity. Many of these factors are avoidable. |
