2. How to remove mildew stains on leather bags?

1. Wipe gently with a soft towel wrung out with hot water. Pay attention to the use of force when wiping. While ensuring that the coating layer of the leather bag is not damaged, try your best to wipe off the mildew on the surface of the bag thoroughly. Do not use alcohol, nail polish remover or other strong and inferior products for wiping. After wiping, let it dry naturally in a cool place. 3. How to deal with the fading of leather bags?

(I) Bleaching method to remove skin color

1: Use insurance powder to dilute the solution. Insurance powder is widely used in reduction dyeing, reduction cleaning, and bleaching. It does not contain heavy metals. After bleaching, the color is bright and not easy to fade. Dissolve the hydrosulfite in water to make a 3%-5% solution. To further improve the bleaching effect, the solution can be heated appropriately. Then use a soft cloth to dip the solution in the bag and gently wipe it.

2: Use hydrogen peroxide to dilute the solution. Dilute 3% hydrogen peroxide with water first, at a ratio of about 1:5. It does not need to be too concentrated to avoid over-bleaching. If conditions permit, add a few drops of ammonia or pure alkaline solution, then use a soft cloth to dip the solution and gently wipe the surface of the bag.

3: It is easy to dilute with 84 disinfectant, the principle and operation are the same as above.

When using the above method again, be sure to use a relatively dilute solution first, apply it only on the surface, and do not wet the leather of the bag to prevent excessive bleaching from affecting the leather and color of the bag itself. If the method is used properly, the discoloration can be improved and the stains can be removed.

(ii) Increase the adhesion of pigments

Add salt or a small amount of vinegar to the water and wipe the solution on the surface of the bag with a soft cloth. After wiping, turn the bag upside down to dry.

3. Professional Nursing

Genuine leather bags cannot be washed with water. They can only be wiped with a damp cloth and a little fresh milk. They will be very shiny and soft after wiping. If the leather bag fades severely, the editor believes that it is better to send it to a professional leather care shop as soon as possible. Some professional laundries and leather shoe repair shops are also OK. It is better to solve the problem through professional repair and maintenance.
