Hair whorls are hereditary

Maybe you don’t know that the whorls on the top of our heads are actually hereditary. Of course, it doesn’t mean that if both parents have hair whorls, their children will also have hair whorls. All we can say is that hair whorls are highly heritable, but there are exceptions. Although there are many opinions about hair whorls, they do not have much impact on our health, so there is no need to worry about them.

Hair whorl refers to the arrangement of hair on the top of the head that forms a spiral with the center pointing outward and the surrounding hair forming a spiral shape. The hair shaft and skin are at a certain angle. The inclination direction of many hairs is consistent, which is called hair flow or hair flow.

Usually everyone has a whorl of hair, usually located on the top of the head, or on the left or right side. A few people have two or three hair whorls, and some have hair whorls located at the front of the head, forming a special hair flow. The appearance of hair varies somewhat depending on the race. The yellow race's hair is straight, cylindrical, thicker, round in cross section, and black in color; the Caucasian race's hair varies greatly in shape and can be straight or wavy, oval in cross section, and black, golden or white in color; the black race's hair is curly, finer, black, and oval in cross section, but one side is flat, and the cuticle is obviously twisted, making it easily damaged by external factors.

Lift up the hair at the back from bottom to top, support the roots, pull the ends outwards, and set the direction of the hair along the left and right directions. The specific method depends on personal habits. In short, lift the hair up one strand at a time. After each strand is lifted, twist it with your hands, follow the flow direction, and then spray some styling spray. When spraying, spray from the left and right sides, don't spray from the top and bottom, as it will flatten the hair. After spraying, use your hands to grab the back of the hair to fix it to prevent it from falling down.
