What to do if there are oil stains on clothes

If there are oil stains on clothes, they should be washed off quickly, otherwise they will be difficult to clean after being left for a long time. If there are oil stains on clothes, you can simply change the clothes and then apply detergent or soap to the oil stains. Do not wash them immediately at this time. You should leave them for about 5 minutes and then rub and wash them. After washing, they will be as clean as new. If this still doesn't work, it's best to take it to a specialized dry cleaner for cleaning.

When clothes are stained with oil, squeeze some toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then rub it with clean water. The oil stain can be removed. You can also remove grease by applying alcohol or salt solution to the grease stain. If cooked oil stains your clothes, soak them in warm salt water and then rub them with soap and rinse them to remove the stains. Apply a paste made of alcohol and chalk powder to the oily stains on the leather jacket. After the paste dries, carefully wipe it off.

If there are oil stains on silk clothes, you can mix talcum powder into a paste and apply it to the oil stain. After leaving it for a while, peel off the talcum powder, then put some thin paper on the silk and iron it flat with a not too hot electric iron. On the oily areas, apply the superior oil essence evenly, and wash normally after 3-5 minutes. If oil is accidentally dropped on clothes, keep the clothes dry before washing. Then drop some detergent on the oil spots and rub them a few times. There will be no oil stains after washing.

Use No. 120 solvent gasoline, or chemical organic solvents such as trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, benzene, etc., dip a small brown brush or a small towel in it, and repeatedly brush or scrub the stain. The grease and gasoline in the stain will dissolve and evaporate with the chemical agent, and the stain will gradually disappear. It should be noted that after oil stains are removed, traces often remain. The reason is that after the oil dissolves, it does not completely evaporate and remains on the fabric.

In addition, there are many types of oils and fats, such as the most common animal oils and fats, which are the easiest and most convenient to clean. If it is grease such as paint, it will be difficult to clean and must be cleaned immediately, otherwise it will be almost impossible to clean it after the oil stains dry. If it is grease such as vegetable soup, the cleaning method is similar to that of animal oil stains.
