How long to roast hazelnuts in microwave

How long to roast hazelnuts in microwave

In life, many people like to eat hazelnuts. Hazelnuts are a kind of fruit that grows in the mountains. This nut tastes particularly good and its nutritional value is particularly high. The only problem is that the shell of hazelnut is relatively hard, so when frying hazelnuts, be sure to fry them until they are cooked, so that the shell will explode by itself and it will not be particularly difficult to eat. Some people also like to roast hazelnuts in a microwave oven. So how long does it take to roast hazelnuts in a microwave oven?

1. Choose sweet potatoes. When buying sweet potatoes, choose those with regular shapes, smooth skin, no pits or eyes, and of moderate size. For sweet potatoes of the same size, choose the heavier one.

2. Preparation before baking. Select a sweet potato weighing about 150g, wash it, drain the water and set aside. When baking sweet potatoes, do not choose pieces that are too large as they are not easy to bake; try not to choose round pieces, for the same reason.

3. Bake. Wipe the surface of the sweet potato dry with a dry kitchen towel, put it on the grill in the microwave, select "Baked Sweet Potato" - 150g, start baking, and the microwave will display that it will be baked in 6 minutes. Note: Do not place it on a baking tray, but on a grill so that it is heated evenly.

4. After baking for 1 minute, open the microwave door, take out the sweet potatoes with dried surfaces, poke five or six small holes in the sweet potatoes with a toothpick, and put them back into the oven to continue baking. Using a toothpick to blast the sweet potato skin is to allow the heat inside the sweet potato to dissipate so that the inside and outside are heated evenly.

5. After baking for 3 and a half minutes, take out the sweet potatoes, repeat step 4 above, and continue baking. At this time, a sweet smell is already emanating.

6. After 6 minutes, the microwave stops and the sweet potatoes are baked. Take out the sweet potatoes, place them on a dry plate, and wait until they are slightly cool before enjoying the sweet baked sweet potatoes. My sweet potato has white flesh, which is sweeter than the red ones.

1. Put the hazelnuts in a baking tray.

2. Hazelnuts can also be placed directly in the oven. I made two kinds, one roasted and one dried.

3. No need to preheat the oven, just put it in at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Note: Freshly roasted hazelnuts are very hot, and dried ones are also very hot. Do not handle them directly with your hands. Wait until they cool down before eating.
