How long does it take to recover after wisdom tooth extraction

It is well known that people aged 18-25 generally go through a stage of growing wisdom teeth. Of course, due to differences in the human body, not everyone will grow wisdom teeth at this stage. Some people never have to worry about wisdom teeth throughout their lives. If wisdom teeth grow, they generally need to be treated in a timely manner to avoid causing pain, especially diseases such as pericoronal fire. Usually there will be a painful period right after wisdom teeth are removed. How long will this painful period last?

When we first have a tooth pulled out, there will definitely be some pain. A blood clot will generally form about 15 minutes after the extraction, and the tooth will no longer bleed. The face will no longer be swollen and painful 3-5 days after the extraction, but we must also be careful when eating at this time, otherwise it is easy to fail. Generally, it takes us one month to be able to eat normally.

Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, usually erupt between the ages of 18 and 25 and are the last teeth to erupt in humans. When wisdom teeth grow and how many they grow in total will vary from person to person. Some people will never grow wisdom teeth in their entire lives, while others will not show symptoms until they are in their thirties, forties, or even fifties. Regardless of the situation, most people will develop pericoronitis when wisdom teeth grow, causing pain, and the position and direction of the wisdom teeth will also become abnormal.

1. Pay attention to using ice packs: Your face will definitely be swollen for two days after tooth extraction. In order to reduce the swelling in time, we should apply ice packs to our face, so that the swelling will be easier to reduce.

2 Pay attention to your diet: You are not allowed to eat any food within two hours after tooth extraction. You can eat 24 hours after tooth extraction. It is generally recommended to eat some liquid food so as not to irritate the wound and make it easier to heal the wound.
