Sometimes my butt hurts when I slap it

When our bodies feel pain, it usually lasts for a while, whether it is long-term or short-term, it will last at least for a while. But some people sometimes feel a sudden pain in their buttocks. This irregular pain will definitely be confusing, and there are no other symptoms. In fact, this is most likely gluteal muscle fasciitis. We can learn about this disease and make judgments based on our own situation.

Gluteal myofasciitis, also known as fibrositis, refers to the condition in which some patients with low back pain have some small nodules on the surface of the sacrospinal muscle or at the attachment of the iliac crest muscle, accompanied by pain and tenderness, which can sometimes also be found in the buttocks. Gower officially used this term in 1904. He believed that the disease was a nonspecific inflammation of tissue, but it was not confirmed pathologically. The nodule palpable clinically is actually a localized fat nodule, so it is also called fat hernia. Such nodules may stimulate peripheral nerve endings and produce local muscle spasms and pain. This nodule can be blocked with 1% procaine, which can relieve pain.

symptom

Myofasciitis refers to the aseptic inflammatory reaction of muscles and fascia. When the body is stimulated by external adverse factors such as cold, fatigue, trauma or improper sleeping position, it can induce an acute attack of myofasciitis. Acute or chronic injuries and strains of the muscles, ligaments and joint capsules of the shoulders, neck and waist are the basic causes of this disease. Fascia is not treated thoroughly in the acute stage and turns into chronic disease; or due to repeated strain,

Adverse stimuli such as wind and cold can cause repeated or intermittent chronic muscle pain, soreness, weakness and other symptoms. The clinical manifestations of myofasciitis are mostly pain in the affected area, mostly soreness and discomfort, muscle stiffness and rigidity, or a feeling of heavy pressure, and sometimes degenerated myofascia and fibrous nodules can be felt under the skin. Symptoms worsen in the morning, when the weather changes, or when exposed to cold. The pain is relieved after activity and often recurs. During an acute attack, local muscles become tense and spasmodic, and movement is limited.
