1. How to do abdominal breathing method?

(1) Before going to bed, lie on your back in bed, place your hands on your abdomen, feel the rise and fall of your abdomen, and then you can start practicing abdominal breathing. When you inhale, do it slowly and let your abdomen rise, then exhale as much air as possible from your lungs until your abdomen sinks in. Try to make the time spent exhaling twice as long as the time spent inhaling. This is the key point of abdominal breathing. Practice for 5 to 10 minutes.

(2) Straighten your upper body and take a deep breath through your nose while letting your abdomen expand. When your abdomen is filled with air, hold your breath for about 2 seconds, then exhale slowly while contracting your abdomen. This action should be performed 6 times in a row.

(3) Stand upright without bending your back. Inhale through your nose, allowing your abdomen to gradually bulge. Then hold your breath, contract your abdomen, allow the gas in your abdomen to rise to your chest, and exhale slowly.

(4) Straighten your back and breathe in slowly through your nose while contracting your abdomen. Allow all the moist air to enter your chest and feel it expanding. After inhaling enough air, hold your breath for 2 seconds and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Your abdomen should not swell. The same action should be repeated 6 times.

(5) Lie on your back with your hands around the back of your head. When you start the exercise, you can just lift your head up and then return to the original position. As time goes by, you can gradually train to stand up your upper body, and hold it until your abdominal muscles tremble. Stay in this position for about 3 to 5 seconds, and then return to the original position. Repeat 10 times each time.
