Olive oil, beeswax, lipstick powder, vitamin E, silicone lipstick mold, mold fixing frame (the editor’s fixing frame is made by drilling holes in a piece of wood), 100 ml glass beaker, glass stirring rod, lipstick tube.

Preparation method

1. Prepare the materials you need to avoid being in a hurry during the production process.

2 Use an electronic scale to weigh out 18 grams of olive oil, 6 grams of beeswax, 1 gram of lipstick powder, and 3 vitamin E capsules

3. Pour the lipstick powder into the olive oil and stir evenly (be sure to stir for a while to allow the lipstick powder to fully dissolve in the olive oil)

4. Cut the beeswax into small pieces, pour it into the lipstick powder solution, and stir again. (Stir more to make the lipstick color more uniform)

5. Cut a small hole in the vitamin E capsule, squeeze the vitamin inside into the lipstick solution, and stir again (the secret to making lipstick is to stir more, stir, stir, and stir again)

6. Stir the lipstick solution evenly, heat it over water, and continue stirring until the beeswax is completely melted. (Wear thick gloves to hold the beaker, be careful not to get burned)

7. Quickly fill the melted lipstick liquid into the silicone mold (be quick, otherwise it will solidify in a while. If it really solidifies, it doesn’t matter, just heat it again in water until it melts)

8. Let it sit for two hours and wait patiently for the lipstick to solidify completely (if you are in a hurry, put it in the refrigerator and it will solidify in 10 minutes, but small water droplets will appear on the lipstick). Teach you how to make lipstick by yourself. 9. Remove the top layer of the mold, twist the lipstick tube to the outermost part, and insert the lipstick vertically into the lipstick tube. It must be vertical, vertical, vertical... If it is crooked, the lipstick will easily touch the inner wall of the lipstick tube.

10. The most critical step is demoulding. First, lift the bottom edge of the silicone mold to allow air to enter the mold so that the mold and the lipstick are completely separated. Then, gently pull the mold upwards little by little.

11. OK, a lipstick is perfectly molded

When heating with a beaker, be sure not to burn yourself and pour into the mold quickly and steadily.
