Homemade Baking Soda Cleaner Recipe

I don’t know when it started, but various types of cleaners have become must-have items in the home. Baking soda and white vinegar.

1. Clean the kitchen sink: Pour some water into the sink, sprinkle some baking soda on the dirty area, wipe it with a cloth, then sprinkle some baking soda into the leaking hole, pour some white vinegar, and when foam is produced, cover it with a napkin, remove it after 20 minutes, and clean it. Finally, rinse the faucet with soapy water and a rag soaked in vinegar, and the sink will be as clean as new.

2. Cleaning the bathroom: Mix two small cups of baking soda with half a cup of soapy water, add half a cup of water and two spoons of white vinegar, fully dissolve and mix, pour into a water spray container, spray it to the area that needs to be cleaned, wipe it with a nylon sponge rag, and then rinse with water. When not in use, tighten the lid.

3. Stains on carpets: If the stains are light, dissolve two spoons of salt in half a cup of white vinegar, pour it on the stains, wait for the solution to dry, and then vacuum it clean. If the stain is larger and heavier, add some borax to the solution and use the same method.

4. Enhance the washing effect: Adding half a cup of baking soda to the laundry detergent will make the clothes more colorful, and it can also soften the water and enhance the effect of the laundry detergent. Baking soda will also make bleach more effective, so you only need half the usual amount to achieve the same bleaching effect.

5. Clean the refrigerator: Soak a rag in vinegar and wipe the inner walls and compartments of the refrigerator. This can not only effectively remove dust and dirt, but also prevent the generation of microorganisms. After cleaning, put a small box of baking soda in the refrigerator to keep it smelling fresh.

6. Clean the washing machine: After using the washing machine for a long time, more and more bacteria will hide in the washing tub, and then attach to the clothes, causing secondary pollution. Therefore, it is imperative to clean your washing machine regularly. Baking soda and white vinegar are the main cleaning agents for cleaning your washing machine. Baking soda is made of sodium bicarbonate, which has the effects of cleaning and deodorizing. It can also soften water and prevent the calcium and magnesium ions in the water from forming water-insoluble soap scum with the soap remaining in the washing tub and accumulating in the washing tub. The acidity of white vinegar has natural antiseptic properties.

When cleaning, first fill the washing machine with water, add 1 cup (about 100-120 grams) of baking soda, let the washing machine run for 3-5 minutes, soak for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1 hour, then drain the water, fill it with clean water, and run for five or six minutes.
