Treatment method: regulate heart qi, calm the mind and relieve palpitations. The main acupoints are the Hand Jueyin and Hand Shaoyin meridians.

Main acupoints: Neiguan, Ximen, Shenmen, Jueyinshu, Juque

For those with weak heart and gallbladder, add Gallbladder Shu; for those with both heart and spleen deficiency, add Spleen Shu and Zusanli; for those with yin deficiency and excessive fire, add Shenshu and Taixi; for those with water vapor invading the heart, add Tanzhong and Qihai; for those with blood stasis in the heart meridian, add Tanzhong and Diaphragm Shu; for those who are easily frightened, add Daling; for those with excessive sweating, add Gaohuang; for those with restlessness and heat, add Laogong; for those with tinnitus, add Zhongzhu and Taixi; for those with edema, add Shuifen and Zhongji.

Use the filiform needle method of equal tonification and equal drainage.

Fang Yi: Nei Guan and Xi Men points on the pericardium meridian can regulate heart qi and dredge qi and blood. Shenmen, the original acupoint of the Heart Meridian, can calm the mind and relieve palpitations. The Jueyinshu point on the back of the pericardium and the Juque point on the heart can benefit the heart qi, calm the mind, and regulate the qi. The combination of various acupoints can achieve the effect of calming the nerves and soothing the mind.

Other treatments

1. Acupoint injection method: Select acupoints according to basic treatment, use vitamin B1 or vitamin B12 injection, inject 0.5 ml into each acupoint, once every other day.

2. For ear acupuncture, select sympathetic, Shenmen, heart, spleen, liver, gallbladder, and kidney, and use light stimulation with filiform needles. You can also bury it with a pressing needle or press it with a fenugreek seed patch.

Preventive Care

The key to preventing this disease is to regulate emotions, eat in moderation, avoid the six external evil spirits, and strengthen physical fitness. Actively treating chest pain, heart pain, phlegm and fluid in the lungs, lung distension, wheezing and arthralgia is of great significance for preventing and treating palpitations.

Patients with palpitations should remain optimistic, emotionally stable, persist in treatment, and maintain confidence. Avoid panic, excitement, worry, anger, etc. You should have a regular daily routine. Eat in moderation, eat nutritious and easily digestible foods, a low-fat, low-salt diet, and avoid smoking, drinking, and strong tea. Patients with mild symptoms can engage in appropriate physical activities without feeling tired or aggravating symptoms, and avoid strenuous activities. Patients with severe palpitations should rest in bed. They should also detect symptoms of changes in symptoms and precursors of serious illness as early as possible and be prepared for emergency treatment.

People with palpitations should receive appropriate treatment in the hospital and then take care of themselves in terms of diet, daily life, etc. after returning home to consolidate the therapeutic effect and prevent or reduce the onset of palpitations.

Rest: It is advisable to go to bed early at night and not stay up late. Make sure to take a nap. For those with insomnia, they should take sedatives to ensure that the cerebral cortex gets enough rest. Otherwise, it may cause central nervous system dysfunction, increase myocardial excitability and induce premature beats.
