What to do if bone marrow hematopoietic function is poor

The main function of bone marrow is to produce hematopoiesis. Generally, the bone marrow of an adult is divided into red and yellow bone marrow. Different colors of bone marrow represent different functions. Red bone marrow is mainly responsible for producing red and white blood cells and platelets, while yellow bone marrow is responsible for killing bacteria and inhibiting pathogens in the body. When the human body's hematopoietic function is weak, it will cause hematopoietic anemia and affect the body's immunity and resistance. So what measures should be taken to treat poor bone marrow hematopoietic function?

It fills the gap between the bone marrow cavity and the cancellous bone, and is divided into red bone marrow and yellow bone marrow. The red bone marrow contains red blood cells at different developmental stages, some white blood cells, and adipose tissue.

marrow

①Medullary tissue hidden in the bone cavity. "Suwen·Ping Ren Qi Qi Lun" states: "The viscera are below the kidneys, and the kidneys store the Qi of the bone marrow."

② Refers to the disease being in the bone marrow, implying that the disease is located deeper. "Lingshu·Cold and Heat Diseases": "The collaterals govern the skin, ... the meridians govern the bone marrow and the five internal organs."

What is Bone Marrow

Bone marrow is a spongy tissue that exists in the medullary cavity of long bones (such as humerus and femur), the cancellous interosseous mesh of flat bones (such as ilium and ribs) and irregular bones (sternum, spine, etc.). The bone marrow that can produce blood cells is slightly red and is called red bone marrow. The bone marrow in some bone marrow cavities of adults contains many fat cells, is yellow in color, and cannot produce blood cells. This is called yellow bone marrow. When a person is born, the bone marrow cavity throughout the body is filled with red bone marrow. As age increases, the number of fat cells in the bone marrow increases, and a considerable portion of the red bone marrow is replaced by yellow bone marrow. Finally, red bone marrow is almost only found in the flat cancellous bones. This change may be because adults do not need all of the bone marrow cavity hematopoiesis, and partial bone marrow cavity hematopoiesis is sufficient to replenish the required blood cells. When the body is severely ischemic, part of the yellow bone marrow can be transformed into red bone marrow and restore its hematopoietic ability.

What does bone marrow do?

The blood components in the human body are in a constant metabolism. Old cells are cleared and new cells are generated. The important function of the bone marrow is to produce stem cells that generate various cells. These stem cells differentiate and regenerate various blood cells such as red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, lymphocytes, etc. Simply put, the function of the bone marrow is hematopoietic function. Therefore, bone marrow is very important for maintaining the body's life and immunity.

1. Increasing aerobic exercise can increase the activity of hematopoietic stem cells. 2. The human body's hematopoietic tissue has a strong compensatory function. After part of the bone marrow is extracted, the hematopoietic stem cells will proliferate faster and completely restore to their original levels within one or two weeks. Therefore, not only will the donor's hematopoietic function not be affected, but his hematopoietic system will be exercised and more vital.
