Maybe many young people don’t like meditation, but in fact, meditation is a very good habit, especially now people’s pace of life is very fast and people’s hearts are very impetuous. Meditation can make people calm down and have enough time to think about their lives. Many people have changed their lives in this way. The simplest way is to sit cross-legged. The correct posture of this practice is introduced in detail below. Correct sitting posture for cross-legged meditation: (I) Single disk: People who are new to meditation must start with single-leg sitting (Ruyi sitting, Vajra sitting). If Dantian is not formed, meditation will only be painful. Therefore, if you want to extend the time of meditation, you must practice to form the Dantian. If the Dantian Qi is formed, you will be able to gradually improve your meditation. Even if there is some Qi in Dantian, but the Qi is not easy to reach the feet during meditation, and the knees are not soft when sitting cross-legged, and cannot be closely aligned with the other foot. The most important thing at this time is that the Qi is not enough and the feet cannot be regulated well. Scholars can lie down flat and tie three sections of a health band on their legs (above the knee, below the knee, and at the bare foot) for one or two hours. The Qi in the feet will come up and help to unblock the foot qi. Before the foot qi is unblocked, the feet will also feel painful. One of my classmates often felt cold all over and had to wear a cotton-padded jacket when sleeping in winter. After he tied the health belt, he no longer had to wear so many clothes to sleep because his blood qi would flow directly up. (ii) When the double disk is used: After starting to meditate, it is necessary to adopt double-lotus position, because qi will flow from dantian to du meridian, then return to dantian through ren meridian and then spread to the lower body. It is very important to spread qi to the lower body when sitting in double-lotus position. When sitting cross-legged, both knees should touch the ground to be in a stable and correct posture. If one knee does not touch the ground, it means that there is a height problem with the pelvis or the length of the left and right feet, and the hip and femur need to be further adjusted. (III) Improper adjustment of double-plate If both knees cannot touch the ground at the same time when you are sitting cross-legged, you should use a health belt to make adjustments. Now I will give a brief introduction to the health belt. The health belt is used to treat scoliosis or fore-and-aft curvature of the spine. A crooked spine involves the central nervous system, and the nervous system is related to the health of the internal organs. Unhealthy internal organs affect the endocrine system. The most fatal thing is that the true Qi is blocked as a result. One may meditate very hard but make very slow progress or no progress at all. Therefore, the most basic spine should be adjusted upright first, so that related internal organ problems can be easily corrected. Therefore, not only the length of the legs, but also any gynecological problems, weak energy during confinement, poor blood circulation, cold hands and feet in winter, and problems with internal organs can be treated by wearing a health belt. For those who practice meditation and Dantian and wear a health belt, it is easier to induce Qi, and it will come in just ten minutes. It is very strange that the Qi will go up to the head and the brain. However, for those who do not meditate, it will take 2 to 3 months to wear a health belt before the Qi will come up. So, my old classmates, except for viral infections, if it is an internal organ disease, try not to rely on medication, and use health to treat it best. The reason why wearing a health belt can induce qi is that the feet are usually open outward, so the angles of the hip bone and femur are also open outward. The hip and femur are open, and the feet form an outward-facing "eight" step when walking, which makes it difficult to straighten the spine. After tying the health belt and putting your feet together, the hip and femur will be adducted relatively, the angle of the pelvis will be restored, and the spine will be straightened, which will directly affect the central nervous system and internal organs, achieving the purpose of restoring health. Therefore, people who wear health bands will find it easier to induce qi in the early stages of learning meditation than ordinary people. (IV) How to tie the health belt: 1. Ankle part: Tie the shortest third health belt above the ankle. The tightness should be appropriate. If it is too loose, it will not be able to be aired up. If it is too tight, it will swell and be very painful. If you feel it is too tight when you lie down, relax a little more, because after a dozen minutes or so your feet will swell as the air comes up, which will pull the strap tighter. If your bare feet hurt, placing a towel between your bare feet can also solve this problem. 2. Above the knee: Tie the first healthy long belt 1 to 2 cm above the knee. It’s okay to tie it tightly here. 3. Part below the knee: Tie the second health belt 1 to 2 cm below the knee. This part should be slightly loose and not too tight, because it will affect the ankles and feel too tight when lying down. When lying down flat, if you feel it is too tight, you need to relax and adjust it again. After adjustment, place your hands lightly on both sides of your upper midsection. When to tie the belts? It is best to tie the three health belts all night when sleeping. Otherwise, you can tie them whenever you lie down. You can also wear it while working, especially when using the computer, reading, or watching TV. You can only wear the first health belt on your knee. After a month, you will find that your feet will change from walking in a figure eight manner to walking in a parallel direction, and your knees will be able to touch the ground when you cross your legs, because now the shape of your feet, spine and pelvis have begun to return to a more normal position! Some people spend a lot of money and travel a long way to get their spine corrected, but their spine returns to its original state the next day. You don't have to spend money.
