For example, the filter net in sewage treatment area is essentially a filter. The filter is mainly used to filter solid objects, but can also filter liquid objects. Different types of filters have different functions. In general, the current filters have the following functions.

First, high filtration rate and good filtration effect

When the inlet water quality suddenly deteriorates, the outlet water quality can also be guaranteed to be pure, avoiding the disadvantage that the shallow filter media of imported filters cannot adapt well to water quality changes.

Cause: Static electricity causes the dust to change its trajectory and hit obstacles, and static electricity makes the dust stick more firmly to the medium. Materials that can carry static electricity for a long time are also called "electret" materials. After the material is charged with static electricity, the resistance remains unchanged and the filtering effect will be significantly improved. Static electricity does not play a decisive role in the filtering effect, but only plays an auxiliary role.

Fourth, filter material

In fact, the air filter filters solid matter in the air, such as iron filings or sand, but these substances will damage the piston sealing ring, block the small exhaust holes on the components, shorten the service life of the components or make them fail. The function of the air filter is to separate liquid water and liquid oil droplets in the compressed air, and to filter out dust and solid impurities in the air, but it cannot remove gaseous water and oil.

Fifth, Interception

Dust particles in the air move with the inertial motion of the airflow or irregular Brownian motion or are affected by some field force. When the particles collide with other objects, the van der Waals force between the objects causes the particles to stick to the fiber surface. Dust that enters the filter medium has more opportunities to hit the medium, and will get stuck when it hits the medium.
