What does the lipstick formula include?

Women often put on lipstick, especially before going out. While changing the color of lips, personal image will also be changed. There are a wide variety of lipstick products on the market now. The prices of these lipstick products vary greatly, the ingredients they contain are different, and the effects when applied on the lips are also completely different. At the same time, many people would think of making their own lipstick, so what is the formula of lipstick?

First, disinfection

Wipe and disinfect lipstick molds, beakers, lipstick tubes and other utensils with alcohol, then dry them and set aside. A thin layer of olive oil can be applied to the inside of the lipstick mold to facilitate demolding.

Second, the proportion of materials

5g beeswax, 15ml olive oil (other oils can also be used), two vitamin E capsules, 1g color powder, and 2 drops of your favorite essential oil. This is the general ratio. If you want it to be more moisturized, you can increase the proportion of oil appropriately or add a small amount of honey.

Third, stirring

The key to lipstick making lies in this step. Add the measured olive oil and color powder into the beaker, and stir clockwise and counterclockwise with a stirring brush until the color powder is completely dissolved in the olive oil. This process takes at least twenty minutes.

Fourth, heating

After the color powder and olive oil are completely blended, add beeswax into the beaker, then heat the beaker over water or use an alcohol lamp, stirring while heating until the beeswax is completely dissolved, and finally add vitamin E and essential oils.

Fifth, filling

Prepare a lipstick mold or lipstick tube, quickly pour the melted lipstick into the mold, let it cool naturally for twenty minutes or place it in the refrigerator for about ten minutes to wait for the lipstick to cool.

Sixth, demoulding

Be careful during the demolding process, first pull the mold slightly to let air into it, and then slowly remove the mold, and a perfect lipstick is ready!

7. Lipstick color

1. When dozens of colors are placed side by side, there must be one that is the most eye-catching. This color of lipstick will especially highlight the lips. If you have perfect lips, straight teeth, and want to be the center of attention, this is the best choice for you.

2. Wow! Really beautiful - actually not necessarily. The color looks good against a white background, but it may not look good when applied on the lips. Don’t be bothered, be sure to try it yourself, it will be truly beautiful when you apply it on your face!

3. If there is really no one that satisfies your needs, then I suggest you just choose the most inconspicuous one. The lipstick that looks plain at the counter and even makes it difficult to tell what color it is actually looks natural and comfortable when you use it. You may be skeptical about this, but just try it and you’ll know!

4. When choosing lipstick, pay attention to the brand and color. If your skin color tends to be yellowish in autumn and winter, you should choose warm colors and avoid using pink tones. Although pink lipstick looks good, applying it on yellowish skin will make the skin look sallow and unhealthy. Pink is suitable for people with fair skin, as it will make their skin look rosy and tender.

5. Before applying lipstick, hold it in front of your clothes for comparison and choose one with a similar color. If the clothes are black and white, bright red or purple lipstick will make you look more gorgeous and star-like.

6. For people with honey-colored skin, using bright lipstick can create a contrast effect, making the skin tone more healthier and more beautiful.

7. If you like to use plain lipstick without any color, then other parts of your face must have a healthy rosy color to make your face look lively, otherwise you will look old-fashioned.

8. Lip liner is a good companion to lipstick. Use lip liner to draw the lip line first. It is a good modification for people with uneven lip shape, and it can also prevent lipstick from smudging. You should develop the habit of applying lipstick with a cotton swab and avoid letting your lips come into direct contact with lipstick. This is not only unhygienic, but also easily causes the lipstick to deteriorate.

9. If you want your lips to have a soft pink color, you might as well apply a little powder after applying lipstick, and then purse your lips up and down, and your lips will have a completely soft texture.

10. Remember, never let your lips be only one color. Day after day, you will become aesthetically fatigued.
