What are the symptoms of bladder irritation?

The bladder is one of the most important organs in the human urinary system. It is responsible for storing urine. When the urine storage volume reaches the excretion threshold, it will be discharged from the bladder. Therefore, the health of the bladder is very important for people's excretion. Once there is a problem with the bladder, it will affect urination. For example, bladder irritation syndrome is a common symptom of modern diseases. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of bladder irritation syndrome. I hope everyone can understand.

Bladder irritation symptoms refer to frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. A normal person urinates an average of 4 to 6 times during the day and 0 to 2 times at night. If the number of urinations per day is >8 times, it is called frequent urination. Urinary urgency is the feeling of having to urinate immediately. Dysuria refers to the pain in the bladder area and urethra during urination, which may be a burning or stinging sensation.

1. Urinary tract infection

Refers to urethritis caused by all pathogenic microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, mycoplasma, chlamydia, parasites, etc. Leukocytosis is common and pathogenic microorganisms can be found in the urine (culture, microscopic examination).

2. Urethral syndrome

It is related to mental factors and is more common in women. Midstream urine culture is mostly negative, and urinary tract irritation caused by organic diseases is excluded, so this disease can be considered for diagnosis.

3. Ureteral stones

Especially stones in the ureterovesical wall segment.

4. Bladder tumor

Hematuria is often prominent.

5. Interstitial cystitis

It can be seen in connective tissue diseases, more commonly in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). When no cause can be found, it is called idiopathic interstitial cystitis.

6. Hemorrhagic cystitis

It is common in people taking cyclophosphamide (an anticancer drug).

7. Urinary tract tuberculosis

The characteristic of renal tuberculosis is that the disease occurs in the kidneys and manifests itself in the bladder.
