What causes general anesthesia?

If you experience sudden numbness in your body, you must check your physical condition in time, because numbness has a great impact on your health and life. The causes of numbness all over the body may include diabetes, side effects of drugs, neuritis, etc. If the body experiences persistent and frequent paralysis, you should go to a regular hospital for examination as soon as possible.

1. People with diabetes may experience numbness in their hands and feet. If numbness, soreness, or swelling often occurs in any part of the body, blood sugar should be checked promptly, especially for the elderly.

2. Numbness caused by drugs or chemicals. For example, if you have a cold or diarrhea, taking berberine or furazolidone may cause numbness in your hands and feet. Numbness in your hands and feet may also occur if you stay in an environment containing hydrogen, arsenic, carbon disulfide, etc. for a long time.

3. Numbness caused by neuritis. The most common symptoms of neuritis are numbness of hands and feet, muscle atrophy, and weakness in the limbs. If you have diarrhea or a cold for half a month, it will cause neuritis.

4. Numbness occurs scattered in the limbs. Numbness does not occur in the limbs at the same time, but occurs in a scattered manner. This means that local nerves are stimulated, such as a stroke after being drunk, coma causing stimulation of the head nerves, stimulation of the hand nerves by the elderly using crutches, upper limb numbness caused by cervical spondylosis, and leg numbness caused by stimulation of the lumbar shoulder nerves.

5. Spinal bone hyperplasia numbness: This type of numbness is quite common among the elderly. The main reason is that vertebral bone hyperplasia compresses the nerves in the spinal canal. Some patients may also experience limb pain and other sensations. Of course, with cervical spondylosis now developing towards younger people, many young people also feel numbness in their fingers in winter, accompanied by other symptoms, such as: soreness in the neck and shoulders, radiating pain in the upper limbs or movement disorders.
