What should I do if I get blisters from hot oil burns?

Blisters caused by hot oil burns must of course be treated correctly, because if the wrong treatment method is used, it is easy for the blisters to rupture and cause wound infection, which will cause greater damage. You can use safflower oil or toothpaste locally to reduce inflammation.

1. If a small area of the hand or arm is scalded, wash the scalded area immediately with cold water, and then soak the hand or arm in cold water for half an hour (the water temperature should be between 5℃ and 10℃).

2. However, if the wound is blistered or cracked, do not soak it, because blistered or cracked wounds are prone to infection if soaked in cold water.

3. After soaking, gently wipe the wound dry, disinfect it with alcohol or iodine first, and then apply safflower oil or toothpaste on the wound.

4. Disinfection is required every day, and safflower oil or toothpaste should be applied twice a day. The burns will heal in about a week. In case of blisters or ruptured wounds, the injured area should be bandaged promptly after disinfection to prevent infection.

5. If your face is burned, first wipe off the oil gently with cotton cloth, and then apply a cool towel. Then disinfect the wound and mix egg white and honey, then apply it to the injured area to reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

6. If blisters appear or the wound has ruptured, go to the hospital for treatment in time. Because the skin on the face is more sensitive, if blisters appear or the wound has ruptured, it is easy to leave scars. Try to avoid scars, so you need to go to the hospital in time to follow the doctor's instructions and carry out relevant treatment.

7. If the burn area is large or the wound is deep, call 120 emergency number and go to the hospital for treatment in time, because the longer the delay, the greater the risk of infection, and if the wound is not treated in time, the possibility of leaving scars will increase. If the burn is of second degree or above and covers a large area, surgical treatment is required.

8. If you want to recover as quickly as possible after a burn, you need to pay attention to your diet. It is best not to eat spicy and irritating foods, such as chili peppers. It is best to quit smoking and drinking, and it is also best not to eat ginger and soy sauce. In addition, it is best not to eat greasy food, as it can easily leave scars.
