How to treat snoring? It turns out there are 5 kinds of folk methods

Snoring is a common phenomenon in daily life. Many adults and even some children have the habit of snoring. So how do you treat snoring using traditional remedies? Most people don't really understand this. In fact, there are five folk remedies for treating snoring. The first one is to use pepper to treat snoring.

1. Sichuan pepper

Sichuan pepper has the effects of aromatic stomachic, warming the middle and dispelling cold, removing dampness and relieving pain, killing insects and detoxifying, and relieving itching and fishy smell. Take 5-10 peppercorns, soak them in a cup of boiling water before going to bed, and drink it after the water has cooled down (do not swallow the peppercorns). Take it for 5 consecutive days to treat snoring.

2. Mouthwash

Just dilute 3 to 4 drops of mouthwash with warm water and gargle before going to bed to reduce or stop snoring. This mouthwash contains a resin oil that can increase the blood supply to the throat mucosa, so that the throat mucosa is in a state of sufficient blood supply. The soft palate and uvula will not vibrate due to relaxation, and the snoring will be weakened and stop.

3. Otto Method

Ask a dentist to make a palate for you and wear it in your mouth every night. It can support the drooping soft palate and press the tongue to prevent it from being compressed, thereby preventing snoring.

4. Glass ball method

Sew a child's glass marble loosely into the shoulder flap under the collar of the pajama so that it can slide from side to side. Snorers generally do not snore when they are lying on their side or prone. When the snorer wants to turn over and lie on his back, the glass ball on his back will be pressed, and he will immediately turn over to his side or prone. In this way, the snoring will not occur or will be significantly reduced. Or you can sew a small pocket in the middle of the back of pajamas and put a smallest child-sized leather ball or tennis ball in it. This will prevent the snorer from lying on his back and can greatly reduce snoring.

5. M-shaped pillow

Many people who snore have the habit of sleeping on their backs, so when choosing a pillow, it is best to choose an M-shaped pillow or a pillow with a depression in the middle. Generally, such a pillow can help you sleep on your side more comfortably, keep your breathing unobstructed while lying on your side, and fix the position of your neck to stabilize your sleeping position. It can avoid neck compression and breathing problems caused by a bad pillow shape.
