How to make breast milk soap

The so-called breast milk soap is actually handmade soap made from breast milk. In recent years, some mothers have excessive milk secretion and often squeeze out the excess milk to make soap. 1. Weigh the required amount of sodium hydroxide.

2. Dissolve the sodium hydroxide and allow it to cool to room temperature. Since sodium hydroxide generates high heat when it dissolves, it is better to add sodium hydroxide to water in batches to dissolve it, which is safer. Please dissolve in a well-ventilated area. You can also use an exhaust fan or range hood.

3. Weigh the fat you need to use. If there is solid fat, you can add cheaper liquid fats such as coconut oil or palm oil and heat them together. The solid fat can be fully dissolved by water bath or microwave heating, and then mixed evenly with the liquid fat. It will not solidify again even if the temperature drops.

4. Slowly pour the sodium hydroxide that has reached room temperature into the oil and continue stirring. The mixture will begin to thicken.

5. Continue to stir the mixed soap solution until it becomes a thick soup and add the thawed breast milk.

6. After adding breast milk, the soap solution will become thicker. Be sure to stir the breast milk thoroughly and add the fat for superfatting.

7. When the soap liquid reaches the mayonnaise state, stop stirring.

8. Pour the soap liquid into the prepared mold, model or container, and then keep the soap liquid warm for 24 hours before removing the mold and cutting it into pieces.

9. The finished handmade soap can be used after being placed for a month.
