How to treat and recover from wound ulceration

Wound ulceration is generally caused by improper wound care. Many people may suffer from it after being injured. Wound ulceration is easy to get infected. Many people do not know how to deal with the problem of wound ulceration. When the wound ulcerates, you must pay attention to cleaning the wound.

1. Normal saline

If the patient's skin ulcer is mild and the wound has an inflammatory reaction, rinse the wound with saline, then apply disinfectants such as iodine to disinfect and sterilize it, and then bandage it appropriately.

2. Debridement and dressing change

If the patient's skin ulcer is severe and large areas of tissue necrosis occur, surgical debridement is necessary to remove the necrotic tissue and exudate from the sore surface. This is the basis for controlling skin ulcers. If the ulcer on the sore surface is more serious, the necrotic tissue needs to be cleaned up as well. After cleaning, the wound should be treated with dressing changes every day. If the tissue defect is more serious, it can be combined with a wound closing prescription and dressing change treatment to avoid the pain caused by skin grafting and reduce the possibility of scarring. During the treatment, you will also need to take some antibiotics with anti-inflammatory and anti-infection effects orally or intravenously under the guidance of a doctor to control wound inflammation.

3. Antifungal drugs

For skin ulcers induced by fungal infection, it is important to pay attention to the targeted use of antifungal drugs. After killing the fungi, the ulcers will mostly heal on their own. For ulcers induced by viruses, it is important to pay attention to the targeted use of antiviral drugs to kill the viruses and change the dressings in a targeted manner so that the ulcers can heal soon.

4. Others

Some skin ulcers are caused by circulatory disorders at the wound site. Most of these patients have diseases such as diabetes, lower limb vascular obstruction, varicose veins, etc. These diseases can easily cause circulatory disorders. Once ulcers occur, it is easy to form skin ulcers. For such wounds, we must seek some targeted methods to unblock the circulation, and at the same time, apply some blood-activating and muscle-generating products such as muscle-generating liquids.

5. Warm reminder

During the period when wounds and ulcers do not heal, you should also pay attention to daily diet conditioning, eat more foods rich in protein, vitamins, and zinc, and at the same time avoid foods that can easily induce inflammation and ulcers, such as beef, mutton, and seafood; pay attention to protecting the patient's wounds and maintain a good and positive attitude. Only by taking multiple measures can you promote better and faster healing of the wound.
