How to deodorize sports shoes in detail

Many friends are confused about the fact that their sports shoes will have a strong odor after wearing for a long time, and they don’t know how to get rid of the odor. Because some sweat bacteria grow in sports shoes, they will produce odor if they are not cleaned regularly.

Tips for deodorization and odor prevention

For deodorization, we should remember the following points

1. Before going to bed every night, use cotton cloth to dip a little alcohol and evenly apply it to the inside of the sneakers you just took off. Wait until they are dry before wearing them the next morning. After two weeks of doing this, your shoes will no longer smell.

2. Take an appropriate amount of dehydrated alum or dry lime powder, put it in a small cloth bag, and place it in your shoes before going to bed every night. The damp odor in the shoes will be eliminated the next day.

3. Crush a few sanitary balls into powder, sprinkle them in clean shoes, and then put an insole in them. This way, you will not have smelly feet when wearing them.

4. For newly bought sneakers, sprinkle enough white wine evenly on the sponge sole until the sponge sole can no longer absorb it. After it dries, there will be no odor when you wear it.

5. Hiking shoes and leather shoes tend to produce bad odors after being worn for a period of time. The deodorizing method is: sprinkle a small amount of fine salt in your sneakers or leather shoes, which will eliminate the odor in the shoes.

6. Occasionally, put a layer of baking soda in your shoes to remove shoe odor.

7. Use mothballs to remove shoe odor

Take a piece of slightly hard paper, wrap the mothball, find a tool to crush it, sprinkle the mothball powder evenly inside the shoes, and put the insoles on them. A pair of shoes only needs about one mothball. This way the inside of the shoes can stay dry and the shoe odor will disappear.

8. Use white vinegar to remove smelly socks. Socks can easily smell bad. Pour a little white vinegar into the water used to wash the socks, soak for a while, and then wash with clean water. This will not only remove the odor, but also have a sterilization effect.

9. Use soap to remove odors from the shoe cabinet. The odors in the shoe cabinet are also easy to solve. Just put a piece of soap in the shoe cabinet to easily remove the odor in the shoe cabinet. There is a pleasant smell when you open the shoe cabinet.
