As people's awareness of health care continues to improve, many health care measures have been applied to their lives. Meditation is relatively common, so how does the immortal meditate? Meditation can not only cultivate one's body and mind, but also improve human health. It is indeed a good choice. However, the specific meditation postures and even precautions must be fully mastered so that better effects can be achieved. 1. Posture The meditation postures can be divided into chair style, loose cross-legged style, single cross-legged style and double cross-legged style. It is generally best to sit cross-legged. If the conditions for sitting cross-legged are really unavailable, you can also sit on a chair (i.e., sit on a chair with your legs on the ground). When sitting cross-legged, you can sit cross-legged in either loose, single or double positions according to your ability. There is no need to force yourself to sit cross-legged. Taoism does not require you to sit cross-legged in either position. (Of course it would be better if it can be double-disc) Notice: 1. The back part of the buttocks needs to be raised a little, and you can use a cotton pad or a thin pillow. In this way, the waist can be naturally straightened, avoiding the problem of gradually bending the back due to lumbar muscle fatigue during meditation. 2. The waist should be naturally straightened. If the waist is not straight, the Ren and Du meridians will not flow smoothly, which can easily lead to drowsiness. 3. Keep your head straight, neck upright, and jaw slightly retracted. Tongue against the roof of the mouth. Due to daily living habits, most people's heads tend to tilt to one side, either left or right. When meditating, they often think that their heads are straight. In fact, there is still a skew. After sitting down, you can put a mirror in front of you to see if your head is upright. You can find the correct feeling of having your head and neck straight. This will automatically correct imbalances and qi channels in the body. 2. Mind and Breathing After sitting down, don't rush to close your eyes. First calm your mind and breathe evenly. After your mood is calm and your breathing becomes even, then slowly close your eyes (lightly close or leave a little light in your eyes). Focus on your own breathing and count silently the number of times you breathe. Those who are weak can count the inhalation, that is, count one number for each inhalation, and do not count the exhalation, that is, one inhalation and one exhalation is counted as one count; those who are strong, usually have a bad temper, and the like can count the exhalation, count one number for each exhalation, and do not count the inhalation. Count from one to five, then start over again from one, and repeat this training. The above article gives a clear introduction to how the Great Immortal meditates. Everyone can also see that the posture requirements for meditation are still very high, and the body and mind need to be kept relaxed throughout the whole process. Of course, in addition to meditation, there are many other health care methods that can be used to make your body healthier. |
