How to choose strawberries

Strawberry is a kind of fruit that many people like to eat, and both its taste and appearance are quite tempting. However, we all know that many fruits are now injected with pigments or hormones. So if you want to choose healthy and delicious fruits, you should pay attention to some methods. Below we will specifically talk about some issues that you need to pay attention to when buying strawberries.

Look at the shape. Don't buy strawberries that are too big or too juicy; don't buy weird-shaped or deformed strawberries. Some strawberries are bright in color and large in size, with deformed protrusions on the grains, and are hollow in the middle when bitten open. This deformed berry is often caused by the abuse of hormones during the cultivation process, and long-term and excessive consumption may harm human health. Pregnant women and children in particular should not eat deformed berries. Normally grown strawberries are heart-shaped in appearance.

Look at the color. When choosing, you should try to pick fruits that are bright red, evenly colored, and shiny. It is not advisable to buy fruits that are not completely red or fruits that are half red and half green. The "white sesame seeds" on the surface of the strawberry should be golden yellow. If the "sesame seeds" you see are also red, it may be dyed. When buying strawberries, you can gently wipe the surface of the strawberries with your hands or paper. If there is a lot of red on your hands or paper, be careful.

Furthermore, when the strawberries sprayed with pigment are washed with water, the water will turn light red. Look at the surface. Good strawberries are those with bright green leaves on the stem, fine hairs, a shiny surface, and no damage or rot. Strawberries with white or gray spots on the surface may be diseased.

Because if the fruits we buy are unhealthy and deformed, then these fruits may have been processed at a later stage, or injected with something. If such unnatural fruits are consumed too much, it will cause harm to human health. So if you want to enjoy the deliciousness of these fruits with peace of mind, you must pay attention to these selection techniques.
