What methods can cure melanoma

Many people will suffer skin damage due to melanoma. When many people have this disease, they are worried, which directly and seriously affects their health. Usually, we need to pay attention to the occurrence of melanoma, effectively treat this disease, and pay attention to clearing away heat and detoxification. What are the common treatments for melanoma?

1. Surgical treatment

Surgery is one of the methods for treating melanoma. When the lesion is within 5 cm and the thickness and invasion depth of the tumor are less than 1 cm, surgical resection can be performed. Radical surgery is not recommended for patients with large lesions and metastases. Therefore, comprehensive treatment should be emphasized for those who cannot be completely resected.

2. Radiation therapy

Radiotherapy is effective for patients with metastatic lesions and some early freckle-type malignant melanomas. It can only relieve the compression symptoms of visceral metastatic lesions and reduce pain. Radiotherapy is generally not used for primary melanoma, but can be used as part of comprehensive treatment.

3. Chemotherapy

The effect of chemotherapy for melanoma is not ideal. According to relevant data, its cure rate is only less than 10%, and chemotherapy drugs have serious toxic side effects. Patients after treatment often experience nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and hair loss. At the same time, it also reduces the patient's immune function and causes the cancer to spread. Therefore, chemotherapy is not suitable for melanoma patients.

4. Biological Therapy

Biological therapy has a certain effect on the treatment of melanoma. It uses the tumor patient's own mononuclear cells to proliferate and culture in vitro, and then these cells are returned to the patient's body to indirectly activate the body's immune system to fight the tumor, which has a certain therapeutic effect. This treatment method can be used directly or as an auxiliary after surgery. It can be used after surgery to remove micro-metastatic lesions in the patient's body, reduce the spread and metastasis of the tumor, and improve the patient's own anti-tumor immunity.

Usually, we need to pay attention to some treatment methods of this disease, and in daily life, we must also pay attention to health care matters to avoid affecting the patient's body. Usually, we need to pay attention to more rest, effective care, and in daily life. Be sure to avoid sun exposure, and pay attention to body conditioning methods to detect diseases as early as possible.
