You will find that holding your breath for one and a half to two minutes is very easy even if it is your first time practicing. If you feel uncomfortable, such as you can't hold it anymore, or you feel dizzy, stop immediately and don't force it. Just practice a few times a day, but the interval between them should be at least 1 hour. You will soon improve to around 3 points. However, if the feeling of sleepiness and dizziness intensifies, do not practice anymore to avoid brain deprivation of oxygen. And don't force yourself to increase the time or training volume. After all, we don't want to create miracles, we just want to improve lung function. How long one can hold one's breath varies greatly from person to person. Most people can dive for 1-2 minutes, but those who have been trained can dive for much longer. There is no statistics on the longest time. But those who are said to be able to dive across the river can probably dive for at least 5-10 minutes. Generally, the longer the better, because it indicates a larger lung capacity and more oxygen storage, and it is also related to the body's ability to tolerate hypoxia. Holding your breath is harmful to your body and is different from deep breathing. Holding your breath means breathing and adjusting your breathing for too long. In serious cases, it may damage the respiratory organs and other parts of the nervous system, so you must be careful. In other words, the body is in a state of hypoxia when holding the breath, but turtle breath can increase lung capacity, just don't hold it to the limit. For example, any martial arts exercise has two limits, one is the limit of ordinary exercise, which is the limit of exhaustion, and the other is the limit of life, which is to persist even when exhausted. Some people try to challenge the second limit. Although the spirit is commendable, it will definitely cause harm.
