What is the reason for the pain in my ears?

The ear is a very important organ in our body. Once there is a problem with the ear, it will seriously affect our hearing and will also cause some diseases in other parts of our body. In life, we often feel pain in our ears, but many people do not care much about this situation. It is wrong to simply use medication to treat it. We should understand what is causing the intermittent pain in the ears.

Ear pain is a common disease. The most common clinical disease is otitis media, an inflammatory lesion involving all or part of the structure of the middle ear, most of which are nonspecific inflammations. Its symptoms include ear pain, fever, chills, bitter taste in the mouth, red or yellow urine, constipation, and hearing loss. If the eardrum is perforated, pus will flow out of the ear and the pain will be relieved.

1. Hearing loss: Hearing loss and enhanced self-hearing. The symptoms are that turning the head sometimes improves the condition and sometimes causes blockage. If only one ear is affected, it may go unnoticed for a long time.

2. Earache: Acute otitis media will cause persistent dull earache or occasional cramping pain, while chronic otitis media patients will not have obvious earache. This disease may be accompanied by a feeling of blockage or stuffiness in the ear, which can be temporarily relieved by pressing the tragus.

3. Tinnitus: It is mostly low-pitched and intermittent, such as "crackling", buzzing and the sound of running water. When the head moves or when yawning or blowing the nose, a sound of air passing through water may be heard in the ears.

To treat otitis media, it can be cured by conservative and standardized treatment. You can use hydrogen peroxide for cleaning, take amoxicillin capsules, levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets and other treatments appropriately, or see a Chinese medicine doctor and use medicine such as Niuhuang Jiedu Pills, Huanglian Shangqing Pills, Longdan Xiegan Pills according to the syndrome differentiation, drink plenty of water, eat a light diet, avoid spicy and irritating foods, and also pay attention to the following daily precautions.

After the above description, we should have a deeper understanding of the intermittent ear pain, if we encounter this situation in our lives. Generally, otitis media is caused by inflammation of the ear due to excessive heat, but some patients also experience ear pain due to trauma. Therefore, no matter what causes the pain, you must go to a regular specialist hospital for examination and diagnosis before receiving treatment. Do not blindly use medication, which will worsen the condition.
