How to eat it right

The rapid development of modern society has led to an increase in people’s profit-seeking mentality. In today's profit-driven world, we have to pay attention to what we can eat and what we can't eat almost every day. "Pure natural" and "green and pollution-free" are indeed very important. But have you ever thought that maybe some things are simply the negative consequences of our incorrect eating habits?

1. Boiling tap water for 3 minutes is the healthiest. Among all kinds of beverages, boiled water is the most economical, affordable and safest. However, boiling water is not as simple as people think - just boil the water. As we all know, if water is boiled for a long time, the carcinogen nitrite it contains will increase relatively, so most people turn off the fire immediately when they see the water boil. Little do people know that although this avoids the harm of nitrite, it may cause the chloride content in the water to increase significantly.

2. It is best to eat garlic in slices. Garlic is known as the king of anti-cancer, so many people like to eat garlic. Garlic is best eaten raw. Some people are in the habit of peeling garlic when eating noodles and eating it one clove at a time. The health benefits of eating garlic in this way are minimal. The correct way is: first cut the garlic into thin slices, put it in the air for 15 minutes, so that the garlic and oxygen can fully combine to produce allicin. Allicin is anti-cancer and it is the king of anti-cancer. Eating garlic in this way can exert its maximum effect.

3. The key to cooking tofu is to pair it with other dishes. Tofu is one of the most popular vegetarian foods and has significant health benefits. But do you know that the health benefits of tofu lie in clever combination? For example, pairing tofu with meat can increase the nutritional value of protein. The nutritional value of protein in food depends not only on the amount of protein, but also on the type, quantity and ratio of amino acids contained in the protein. The more appropriate the ratio, the higher the nutritional value of the protein. Although tofu contains a lot of protein, it is low in certain amino acids (such as omega-3). Medically, this is called an incomplete protein, so its nutritional value is greatly reduced. If it is paired with meat, such as braised pork with tofu, fish head stewed with tofu, etc., it can supplement amino acids such as methionine and double its nutritional value.

Perhaps we should reflect on society as well as ourselves. We have no way of stopping what this society brings to us, but we ourselves are in control of ourselves. Learn more about scientific ways to take in nutrition so that you don't put yourself in a desperate situation. Dear friends, what do you think?
