Factors causing stress-induced gastric ulcer

Nowadays, there are many kinds of diseases, so people have heard of more diseases. You should have heard of gastric ulcer. Today I will talk to you about stress gastric ulcer, which is also a type of gastric ulcer. Infection factors are one of the causes of stress gastric ulcer. So, besides this factor, what other factors lead to the occurrence of stress gastric ulcer? Let me introduce it to you below.

Infectious factors:

The role of Helicobacter pylori (HP) in the occurrence of gastric ulcers remains difficult to explain, because only a few of the many HP-infected people develop gastric ulcers, while almost all gastric ulcer patients have chronic active gastritis. HP is the main cause of the onset and spread of gastritis, and gastritis disappears when HP is eliminated. Quantitative studies of HP infection have shown that gastric ulcers, especially those located in the upper half of the stomach, are often accompanied by severe HP infection.

Environmental factors:

The incidence of this disease varies in different countries and regions, and in different seasons, indicating that geographical environment and climate are also important factors. In addition, this disease can also occur on the basis of other primary diseases such as burns, severe brain trauma, gastrinoma, hyperparathyroidism, emphysema, cirrhosis, and renal failure, the so-called "secondary ulcer", which may be related to gastrin, hypercalcemia and excessive excitement of the vagus nerve.

Genetic factors:

Gastric ulcer sometimes has a family history, especially in children, where 25% to 60% of patients have a family history. In addition, people with type A blood are more susceptible to this disease than people with other blood types.

Chemical factors:

Long-term drinking of alcohol or long-term use of aspirin, corticosteroids and other drugs can easily lead to this disease. In addition, long-term smoking and drinking of strong tea also seem to have a certain relationship.

Lifestyle factors:

Ulcer patients seem to be more common in some professions such as drivers and doctors, which may be related to irregular diet. Excessive work can also induce the disease.

The occurrence of stress gastric ulcer is affected by some factors. This article has listed some of the causes of stress gastric ulcer, allowing everyone to understand the causes of stress gastric ulcer from different angles such as infection factors, environmental factors, infectious factors, chemical factors and life factors. We can avoid the occurrence of the disease from these aspects.
