This requires the physician to carefully explain to the patient the normal reactions during the examination (such as the patient will feel a whole body heat sensation when the contrast agent is injected into the body) to avoid the patient's nervousness causing the heart rate to increase, thus affecting the quality of the examination.

Inspection process

During the examination, in addition to explaining the examination precautions to the patient, breathing training is also a link that cannot be ignored. The inhalation amplitude should be moderate (the same as the inhalation amplitude of normal breathing, avoid deep inhalation). Remember to remind the patient to keep the amplitude of each breath consistent to prevent the loss of the required inspection area due to the patient's breathing too deeply or too shallowly during the enhanced scan. At the same time, require the patient to keep the chest and abdomen still while holding the breath, and do not move to avoid motion artifacts in the image. While the patient is doing breathing training, observe the changes in his heart rate, and try to avoid excessive changes in heart rate due to poor inhalation and breath holding. These seemingly trivial details are not imaging technology issues, but if there is no sufficient communication with the patient and their cooperation is not obtained, it will often lead to failure of the examination.
