Causes of abdominal bloating

I believe everyone has experienced abdominal bloating. Abdominal bloating is not a serious disease, so people don’t actually pay much attention to this disease. Abdominal bloating is the discomfort caused by the enlargement or fullness of our abdomen. Abdominal distension will cause some related symptoms, such as diarrhea and vomiting. So what causes abdominal distension? In fact, there are quite a lot of reasons for abdominal distension.

There are many factors that cause abdominal bloating, such as gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, chronic hepatitis and diabetes, cholecystitis and gallstones, as well as urinary and genital diseases.

The root cause of abdominal pain and bloating

(1) Gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, and gastric wormwood.

(2) Diseases of the bile duct and pancreas such as cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, pancreatitis, and pancreatic embolism.

(3) Diseases of the small intestine and colon, including common intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, enteritis, dysentery, and intestinal parasitic diseases.

(4) Peritonitis, often secondary to gastrointestinal perforation and splenic rupture.

(5) Acute and chronic hepatitis, and AIDS.

(6) Abdominal pain caused by chest organs, such as early lobar pneumonia and acute inferior wall myocardial infarction, is often misdiagnosed as abdominal organ disease.

(7) Abdominal pain caused by systemic diseases, such as diabetes.

(8) Diseases of the urinary and reproductive organs, such as kidney and ureteral stones, ectopic pregnancy, salpingitis, ovarian cyst torsion, acute cystitis, urinary tract infection, dysmenorrhea, etc.

We have always regarded abdominal distension as a very minor symptom, but we should realize that there are actually many reasons that lead to abdominal distension. Therefore, once abdominal distension occurs, we must find out the root cause of the abdominal distension, otherwise it will be too late to treat it until the condition worsens.
