"Blacklist" of items that are prohibited in the car in summer!

Lighter Hazard Index: ★★★★★

Disposable lighter. Many drivers who like to smoke are accustomed to putting their lighters on the dashboard. Because disposable lighters contain liquid butane, the internal pressure will increase after being exposed to the sun for a long time. Coupled with friction, squeezing, and collision, they can easily explode.

Perfume Hazard Index: ★★★★

Car perfume. When perfume evaporates, it will produce a flammable gas with a critical explosion point of 49°C. According to monitoring, in summer, the temperature of a closed parked car can reach 65°C after only 15 minutes of sunlight exposure, which can easily cause the perfume to explode.

Reading glasses and magnifying glasses hazard index: ★★★★

Reading glasses. Many older drivers or passengers are accustomed to putting a pair of reading glasses in the car so that they can read newspapers to pass the time when they are stuck in traffic. But if the vehicle is parked in a place exposed to the sun, it will be very dangerous. Because flower mirrors are convex lenses, they tend to gather light together, which can easily cause a fire over time.

Carbonated beverage hazard index: ★★★

Carbonated drinks. Carbonated drinks containing carbon dioxide gas can easily expand and burst at high temperatures. Therefore, drivers should choose some paper-packaged or non-carbonated juice drinks, while carbonated drinks like cola are best bought and drunk as needed.

Bottled water hazard index: ★★★

Bottled water left in the car in the summer may pose a health hazard to people who drink it. Because the polyester bottles used for bottled water often contain substances such as bisphenol A that can cause chronic poisoning to the human body. Especially when the bottle is placed in a trunk with very high temperature, the high temperature will cause changes in the polyester bottle, causing more harmful substances to precipitate into the water, posing a health hazard.

The plastic bottled beverages such as bottled water, orange juice, tea drinks sold in supermarkets have a small triangle on the bottom or body of the bottle with the number 1 written inside, and sometimes the word PET is marked below. This is what we call a polyester bottle.

Polyester material itself is not harmful to health, but when heated or reused, bisphenol A and other chemical components contained in the bottle may be gradually released.

In addition, even if the temperature inside the car is not very high, you should change the habit of placing plastic bottles of water everywhere. Because in summer all kinds of food spoil quickly, water is one of them. If you open a bottle of water and don't finish it, but leave it somewhere in the car, it will be easy to not be able to tell whether it is fresh water or stale water the next time you get water. This allows bacteria that grow in the water to enter the body and cause adverse effects.

Electronic product hazard index: ★★★

Mobile phones, digital cameras. If the sunlight is strong, the phone may have mechanical problems due to excessive temperature, and in serious cases may even explode. High-precision instruments such as digital cameras should not be placed in an environment with excessively high temperatures. Although it will not cause much damage to the car, it will cause considerable harm to yourself.

In addition, do not place batteries, medicines, and food in the car. Batteries may explode under high temperatures, and medicines and food will deteriorate faster due to high temperatures.
