What to do if you vomit blood due to tongue cancer

Vomiting blood from tongue cancer may be due to tumor erosion, which causes a large number of blood vessels to rupture and bleed. If the amount of bleeding is large, anemia or even serious consequences such as hemorrhagic shock may occur. In this case, hemostatic drugs should be used quickly, and the ruptured large blood vessels should be found for ligation, or packing and compression to stop bleeding. For severe bleeding, blood transfusion therapy is required. Many tongue cancers manifest as lumps on the tongue, surface ulcers, erosions, and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. There is often blood in the sputum, or a small amount of vomiting blood. In this case, you should pay attention to observation and go to the hospital for treatment if necessary. Eat a light and balanced diet, eat less spicy and irritating foods, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits and some easily digestible foods.
