Early signs of liver cancer

Early signs of liver cancer:

Clinically, there are no 18 early signs of liver cancer. Liver cancer is hidden and lacks typical symptoms in the early stage, making it difficult to detect. If the patient has obvious clinical manifestations such as liver pain, radiating pain, liver enlargement, jaundice and spider nevi, it mostly indicates that the disease has entered the middle and late stages.

1. Liver pain: As the tumor continues to grow, the liver capsule is pulled, which can cause varying degrees of persistent swelling or dull pain in the right upper abdomen, and tenderness may also occur. This is one of the common symptoms of liver cancer.

2. Radiating pain: If liver cancer invades the diaphragm, radiating pain will occur, and the pain may radiate to the right shoulder or right back.

3. Enlarged liver: Liver cancer can cause progressive enlargement of the liver, especially in the middle and late stages. Patients can feel the enlarged liver under the right ribs, and even local bulges may occur in severe cases.

4. Jaundice: Jaundice will occur in advanced liver cancer, which is manifested as yellowing of the sclera and skin mucosa. The main reason is that the cancer compresses the bile duct, causing bile duct obstruction, or decompensated liver cirrhosis.

5. Spider nevi: Spider nevi in patients with liver cancer generally indicate severe liver damage, which weakens the liver's estrogen inactivation function and leads to the accumulation of estrogen in the blood. Many small arteries and their branches on the patient's body surface are dilated, and red spiders are often seen on the chest, which are clinically called spider nevi.

In addition to the above signs, it can also metastasize to the lungs, bones, chest and other parts, which can produce corresponding symptoms. Patients with advanced liver cancer will experience progressive weight loss, fever, fatigue, malnutrition and ascites. For hepatitis patients, alcoholics or people with a family history of liver cancer, they should go to the hospital regularly for alpha-fetoprotein screening. Pay attention to the protection of the liver in life, avoid drinking and drug abuse, and do not eat moldy food.
