Is obstructive pneumonia lung cancer?

Is obstructive pneumonia lung cancer?

Patients with obstructive pneumonia may have fever, especially non-infectious fever, also known as tumor fever, which is more common. Obstructive pneumonia is not necessarily lung cancer. It may be caused by chronic inflammation of lesions. Chronic bronchitis may cause obstructive pneumonia. Therefore, obstructive pneumonia is lung cancer to a certain extent, but other reasons should be further excluded through relevant examinations.

How long can you live with lung cancer?

This depends on the pathological type at the time of diagnosis, the severity of the tumor, that is, the scope of infringement, the tumor stage, the malignancy of the tumor itself, the patient's physical and mental quality, the patient's economic or family support, and whether formal and standardized treatment can be received. In order to determine the survival time of lung cancer patients, the patient is first analyzed as adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma. If the patient has adenocarcinoma, according to the degree of pathological classification, it is determined whether he is a well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, or a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. If lung cancer is treated and operated on in the early stage, the five-year survival rate can exceed 50%.

Treatments for lung cancer

For patients with advanced lung cancer who are not suitable for surgery, according to the pathological staging classification, it is best to use radiotherapy, chemotherapy, minimally invasive surgery, interventional therapy, gene mutation detection, and targeted drug therapy. For patients without gene mutations but suitable for lung cancer immunotherapy, immunotherapy, O drug or K drug therapy can be selected. Radiotherapy is a means of locally killing tumor lesions. In the classification of lung cancer, small cell carcinoma is the most sensitive to radiotherapy. The treatment methods of lung cancer mainly include surgery, radiotherapy, systemic chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, etc.
